Many parents treasure and adore their sweet little girls from the day she was born and till the day that she becomes a queen. They spoil their daughters with the cutest dresses and accessories. They make her feel like the princess that they see her as, because of this idea that they are to be seen as one.
But what do they do if she wanted to be a prince? How do they react to such thing?
This is the case of this young girl, a girl who wanted to be the prince rather than be the princess.
She - or should I say he - never saw himself as one of the princesses. Dresses never suited him or made him feel special like they made a lot of other girls her age. The pretty things that little girls adored were uninteresting to him.
He struggled to fit in, and he tried to dress pretty and act like the other princesses around him. But it never satisfied him, so he started hanging out with one of the princes instead.
The prince welcomed him, and he made him feel comfortable being himself. He never judged him for the way he looked or talked or dressed, and with that he became his very first friend.
He asked his friend if he knew whether princesses could become princes. He expected him to say no, but his friend said, “I think it is possible. You know that you were born to be a prince, but you were cursed to look like a princess. I’ve actually heard of this mysterious man who can help you become the prince you were born to be.”
The prince’s friend took whatever money he saved up as he and the prince got older and went to his house. The prince’s parents welcomed him inside, oblivious of his and his friend’s plan.
He asked the parents if he could have their permission to take the prince on a trip.
“Of course!” The prince’s parents told him. “As long as our princess comes home safe, she can go with you.”
