The material was impossibly light, thinner than aluminum, yet resisted hammer strikes. Another piece seemed to have hieroglyph-like symbols etched in purple along its length. Marcel rubbed his thumb across the symbols—perfectly smooth, as if the markings weren’t painted but fused into the metal at birth.
“This isn’t from any aircraft we know,” Marcel said quietly.
One of his men shook his head. “Hell, Major… this isn’t from this planet.”
