Just then, a giant wall slides open in front of Jubeoso.

"YES! IM FINALLY FREE!"

"Now it's time to get revenge on the witch who cursed me."

Jubeoso walks outside of the cave, fresh sun hitting his non-existent clothes for the first time in over 100 years. Even though his skin should be dried up from all the sudden exposure to sun rays, he's got a skill to prevent that.

"Alright, where to first? I suppose the local town shouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't mind trying to start the normal life I never had."

Just then Rubeoso hears a shuffling in a nearby bush. A couple second later, an orc pops out. 

Rubeoso readies a combat stance. However the Orc does the opposite, it turns around and looks at the bushes it just came from.

Right after he activates the skill, a group of 3 humans come out of the bushes. 

"Look! There he is guys, let's get that Orc!" A younger kid of 17 points his sword at the Orc.

"Calm down kid, it's just an Orc." An older gentleman steps beside the kid

"Yeah, this isnt anything we haven't dealt with before." A more cocky tone accompanies the final man, who stands next to the other two.

"Well either way, let's do this!" The energetic kid yells this as he runs straight at the Orc. "Use skill, strength buff!" A red aura appears around the kid, enveloping him. He slashes at the Orc but just barely misses. The aura goes away just after he slashes.

The Orc looks swings down and it looks as if the kid is going to get hit! But just in time, the older gentleman sends in a de-speed skill, significantly slowing down the Orc.

"Better watch where you're going, Lucas."

"Sorry! Thanks Granpa Colston!" He turns back to the Orc, "Alright! Time for round two!" He once again uses strength buff, "Hey Damone, speed me up!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. You need to stop bossing me around." Even with this remark, he still casts the speed-buff skill.

Now surrounded by a red-blue aura, Lucas rushes in to get the kill. He dives under a punch, then another, before arriving at the Orc's abdomen. "This is for almost hitting me earlier!" He stabs his sword into the orcs belly.

Blood spews everywhere before the Orc eventually topples over and disapears into a black fade.

"Oooooh! 20 gold, thats more than usual!" Damone sprints up to those shiny yellows and grabs them before anyone else.

"Damone! You barely did anything! Leave some gold for me." 

"Heheheh. Oh don't you worry, little Lucas, I'll have these rewards split up nice and even for us."

"You always say that, but you always take the most for yourself!"

"Boo hoo. Go cry to your Grandpa about it."

The group sit down on a log to rest.

Jubeoso walks back into some thick bushes before turning off his ability. He then walks out of the shrubbery. 

"Hello, my good people! I was wondering if I could join your party?"

"Who the fuck are you."

"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Jubeoso, and I'm a fighter class, although really I have many skills in all departments."

Colston steps forward, "Fighter Class? Are you perhaps referring to the old generation?"

Rubeoso is confused, "Old Generation? What's thats?"

"Back about a century ago, they're used to be a different kind of combat, they used arts and levels. However one fateful day, they were all killed in a catastrophic event, the techniques of the old generation were never passed down another generation, so ever since then, we have had to use a new, status effects system. In this system, there are no arts or levels, just skills, which can be used to buff or debuff in various ways."

"Ah, yes. I knew that, I dont know what was wrong with me."

"Well, back to your earlier question of wanting to join us, what is your rank?"

"Uh, I'm not registered."

"Hmm, that's interesting, lets get you back to town and get you registered."

"Ok."

And just like that, the great warrior, Jubeoso, was following a bunch of mid-tier adventurures to a town.
