Before you read this story I would like to thank you for choosing to check out this story. I would also like to say that this story is a love letter to my ethnic background, Thailand. I have always wanted to write a story with my culture heavily influenced but they never sat well with me until this story. I have written more than I ever had with the other stories and I'm pretty proud of how far I am into my writing journey. It's not perfect of course but I am okay with showing it with random people on the internet at least.
I also want to address that transphobia in the western world doesn't appear the same in Thai culture. Trans-ness is seen as a disability and is pitied as there is a belief that the past lives of trans people were full of sexual misdemeanours and their state is a result of karmic retribution. So for the most part, society isn't hostile towards trans people in this specific culture but there are still many issues that trans people face (especially in contemporary Thailand).
What To Expect
- A Thai inspired fantasy that heavily incorporates Thai folklore and customs
- An all POC cast!
- Multiple characters that are disabled but also LGBTQ+
- You might've seen that Tumblr prompt of towers being for princesses and wizards, this is it!
- Power struggles over the throne between royal siblings
The first installment of "The Uninvited Princess" will be uploaded Tuesday, April 13th at 12 pm PST!
I was unaware that being trans was seen culturally considered a disability in Thailand. Here's hoping that that mindset will change as society progresses.
A naive young princess gets banished to a tower and is inadvertently trapped with a wizard. Now, she must navigate through a world full of magic while the fury of the king looms over her.

Princess Pranee has a love for magic but it seems like the world didn't want her to do anything with it. When she gets locked away in a tower that was supposed to isolate her from the rest of the world, she unexpectedly meets an irritated wizard who claims that the tower belongs to them.
She finds herself wanting to learn more about the magic world and the genderless wizard, Shashi but she can't help but feel anxious that more misfortune will strike her at any moment.
