Door to door moved the soldiers. Looking for a young woman fleeing with her son.
“Get her, that woman is a witch!” the guards say as they run chasing after her.
She was the queen, once held great power over the people of Radi. But now, things have changed.
She had to flee from her home to a distant village. She had to find a new home, one where evil demons didn’t posses the hearts of many...
Days of walking, maybe weeks but still nothing. After trekking for days without much food she finally reached the city of Geno with her baby boy. Just in time, for he had grown pale and was starving almost to death.
She didn’t know anyone there neither did they know her.
Lost, starving and scared, she knew she had to find food fast or else...
She got to bakeries and shops, begging for food but they all turned her down.
“I hear you may need some food.” a man dressed in an elegant black leather suit made for the richest and finest nobles riding a fine carved carriage asked her.
“Me?” she asked.
“Who else.”
Knowing that it would be stupid and useless to decline she followed them to his home. He ordered his cooks to fetch her a fine meal and she ate and fed her baby.
“It appears you may not have a place to stay tonight.” he said.
“Would you care to spend the night?” he asked.
She couldn’t go anywhere until her baby had recovered to full health but she had to reach the sacred stone of Acrabarg before it was too late. Knowing there was nothing she could do, she accepted.
“Excellent!” he said.
The sky was dark, unlike anything she had ever seen before, her sword she had brought with her was no longer there and she was in the middle of no where.
But wait, where was her child?
