She spoke to the void, making every word clear and precise. 'I want him gone. He has done no good for my feelings or for anything. Everyone would be better without him.' A single tear dripped down her cheek. She knew it was for the good of everyone. Even if she did love him at one point, he needed to disappear. She knew he wouldn’t really make him disappear, just reappear in a different place where she would take care of him. Her vision blurred as she turned from the empty blackness that was in a way everything, and nothing.
The next day, he was in fact gone, but not dead. Not yet at least. The void never let someone kill another they secretly loved deep inside. Her steps were shaky as people whispered at school, where did he go? He was indeed a popular kid. A football player no less that all cheerleaders fawned over. Except for one that he had broken up with years before. Her knees gave up as she rushed to the bathroom. The tolls the void took had never been this bad. Was it just her fear? Her fear that he was actually dead was real, but she dismissed it. After school she rushed to the void, taking a secret tunnel under her bed that only she could use. She traveled deeper and deeper until the blackness unfolded in front of her.
