Paige moved from the nice, suburban town to the city, believing she could find a cheap apartment and send her mother whatever money she earned. However, it seems things aren't going as planned.
The Wayward Girls is the story of five lonely young women forced into cultural assimilation. As their experiences develop in the narrative, they become entangled in an all too recognizable conflict between societal constructs and self-empowerment. The narrative is driven by their individual responses to the obstacles created by their opposition to social norms and their personal identity struggles.
