Everything hurts.
Everything is blurred.
Everything, is lost.
These are the first things that come to mind as my eyes shoot open. I have no idea where I am or who I am.The only thing that I am certain of is that I am currently lying on what seems to be a beach.
I try to get up, but the moment I exert pressure on my body I fall down and I do my best to suppress scream of pain. Waves lap at my bare feet. I rethink my strategy, only to find I can't think. Mind hurts horribly and everything seems blurred and unimportant.
After who knows how much time, a group of people make their way toward the place where I have collapsed. They speak in dialect that I cannot comprehend. All of these foreign people bear weapons, spears, I think. After some time of these people asking me questions, they finally give up and try to hoist me up, only to have me collapse this time I let out a yelp of pain and find myself unable to stop the flow of tears. After that they handle me more gingerly and support my weight as we move toward what seems to be a dock.
When we finally arrive I realize just how large this dock is. The are at least a hundred ships at port here. Two of the men go off to look for someone while I wait with a guard watching me. I suddenly realize how thirsty I am and I began to drag myself to the edge of the dock. I cup a good amount of water in my palms and I drink. On top of being salty, the water tastes foul, I drink it any way and down for second.
Suddenly I feel something grab my submerged wrists, and with a sharp jerk, I am pulled under the water.
My head explodes with pain as I fight for breath. I see the guard looming over me, shouting for help. The guard throws a rope down to me and I grab at it. I get one fine breath as the hand pull me under yet again. This time its different. I feel cold teeth sink themselves into my body. The guard throws a pike down past me. I feel one of the hands loosen. The last thing that I ever see is a greenish face, horrible looking, biting into me, eating me.
