We are telling our story so you won’t go looking for a magic book that will totally ruin your routine. Me(Red Danvers) and my friends Mark Lewis, Catherine Swift,Luke Haven,Ruby Blue and Emily Hearth will be narrating. (Get your hands of the speaker plug, Damian!)

Chapter 1

Your Giant encounter was moved from 3:00pm to 1:00pm Sir

“Find the book or else the world will end in a few days so no pressure.” 12 year old Me (Red Danvers, but I don’t have Red hair though, it’s brown and my skin isn’t red it’s peach)woke up and realized it was just a dream. Or was it? This “dream” was happening occasionally throughout the summer. Next fall I was going to a expensive private school( I was rich). And since I arrived in Miami, I started to have a dream about a book in the backyard. The neighbors were nice. They had children my age.

There was Mark Lewis who knew about the book and he wanted to search for it. He had brown skin,brown eyes some torn shorts( “My cat Qrow destroyed them.”He said) and a lightning bolt on his shirt. He was pretty moody though when I said that the book wasn’t real. I could almost hear thunder.

There was Catherine Swift who looked rather pale. She gave Mark a couple of death stares a day and 2 smiles at me and the other neighbours from the window.Mark had accidentally set a bomb off and blew up her barn. He’s the wo… mean best inventor. Sorry I froze there. Mark accidentally static shocked me(“Or was it accidental Mark like the bomb?” “Ow!” “Ok I’ll continue”)She's never went out of her house but her friend Emily Hearth visited her. She had blond hair and a little bit of magenta . (Not Red people, not Red. Oh shut up Mark, your turn is coming soon).

Luke Haven was another neighbour….BANG!! Excuse me while I see what just happened. I ran outside to my backyard and when I got there I almost fainted. A huge giant covered with rock was destroying my backyard. I have a sad tale. My parents died when I was 8. Car accident. I wasn’t about to die too but when I saw the giant holding my housekeeper, I snapped.

Grace Chase had been a part of my family for a long time. She wasn’t about to die. (I told you her first and last name rhymes,Ruby!) I found a shovel in the lion den (I’m rich remember?)and dug into the ground. Grace gave me the “Hello, I’ve been taking hostage by a giant” look. I got a normal book out and showed it to the giant.

“I have the power of the book!” I yelled . The giant stared at me, confused. I was confused too. I had just tried to confuse the giant but I never knew it would work.Then he was hit in the head with a fireball. It came from the book. “So it’s you.” the giant said. “See you later!” He vanished into thin air sending Grace tumbling down to the ground. I caught her. I felt stronger.I ran to Catherine's house, where the only reliable source of information was held.
