The front door slams and I hear my dad call out to not close the door so violently. I turn of my phone and run down stairs wher u am greeted by my brother, suitcase in one hand rucksack in the other being absolutely over powered by Luffy our dog who is just estatic to see his boy again. My brother doesn't live with us any more and when he comes to visit it's a big thing. I shyly saw hi before I slink back upstairs not wanting him to see I'm happy that he's here.

Once back upstairs I walk along the corridor till I reach my parents bedroom. It's not a long walk just a couple steps really but it gives me time to think. I reach their bedroom and nock on the door, calling out to my mother that brother is here. She emerges from the room and goes down stairs. I can hear laughing down stairs but I dare not join them
