This episode contains dark psychological themes and emotional distress.
I am a failure at school.
Even at home, I am always lonely.
There is no one who truly understands me—except one person. My father.
But he is dead.
This world has always been cruel to me.
Hello. My name is Nemon Vastling. I have been living in this curse for years. To escape it, I created my own dream world in my mind—a place where I was useful, where people needed me, where I had power.
I named that world The First Raid.
For months, I imagined everything: what I wanted, what I could do, who I could become. But one day, everything changed. My fictional world started to feel real. My powers… my fictional friends… it felt as if they had crossed into this world—or maybe I had crossed into theirs.
Cool, right?
Since then, I stopped going to school. It felt like hell. I never left my room. Even my mother began to think I was mentally disturbed. But she didn’t know what was really happening.
I never hated my mother. In fact, I loved her. She was a hardworking woman. After my father died, she managed everything on her own.
But because I never stepped outside my room, something strange happened to her.
She sent me to many psychological hospitals. They all said I was mentally disturbed. But I knew they were wrong. At least, that’s what I believed.
Until one day.
27th August.
It had been three years since I last went to school.
By then, my mother had lost all emotion. I wanted her to smile again. Desperate, I forced her to come into my room.
But nothing happened.
My world… where had it gone?
I started crying. My mother showed no reaction. She took a gun and then—
“MOM!”
I screamed.
Only then did I realize the truth.
Everything was fake.
My mother lay there, barely alive. I wanted to carry her, to save her—but my body wouldn’t move. I was weak, heavy, useless. I couldn’t even lift her.
She whispered something. I leaned closer.
“I trust you… stay safe… goodbye…”
My heart shattered.
I ran from the house, panicking, wanting to escape reality itself. On the street, stray dogs appeared, snarling with anger. I threw a stone at them. They chased me.
I was too slow.
Too fat.
Too weak.
They bit me. I fell. The pain was unbearable. I closed my eyes, wishing it would end.
A failed student. A broken mind. A world born from despair.
Escaping reality through fantasy was his only comfort—until tragedy forced him to confront the truth behind the world he created.
Left with nothing but regret and a final wish to matter, he awakens alone, gifted with power he never asked for.
This is the story of a useless boy learning the weight of existence, one raid at a time.
