My wings propel me through the dark clouds, wind pulling at my feathers. I have no remembrance of who or what I am, all I know is that I must hurry before they catch up to me. I don’t know who they are but I can hear them calling and taunting me, calling me names and speaking in different tongues but I understood them all. I put more power into each flap of my wings, which I look at and see that they are white with black tips. I cry out as something cuts a long gash on my leg, right below the back of my knee. I struggle to go faster and soon I feel my energy draining away, as I weaken from exhaustion. In the distance I see a gold and white castle with a golden flag marked with a sun fluttering in the wind, and I know if I could get there I would be safe from the ones who wished me harm.
“Young one stop this and join us,” a soft masculine voice says from somewhere in the clouds surrounding me, “Join us and be free from the will of the shining one, join the breathtaking darkness you are so tempted by.” I hear laughter from around me, wicked, dark, and terrifying laughter. I see figures exit from the castle and rush toward the cloud I was trapped in and I have a bad feeling in my belly, meaning something bad is going to happen. The figures finally reach us and I see they are winged beings like I am, except they are larger and have gold in their feathers. One of them spots me and hollers, pointing and they all rush towards me the darkness around me vanishing slowly. The one who noticed me reaches for me and as I reach toward his hand, and safety, something wraps around my ankle and drags me backward towards the dark, swirling clouds that hid my tormentors from sight. I scream and the man grabs for me. His fingers almost get a hold of my wrist when a black-winged being shoots out of the cloud slamming into the soft-eyed white-winged one. I let out bolts of lightning until I feel hands grab my arms and someone put a cloth over my eyes and in my mouth smothering my shrill calls for help. I am pulled away deeper into the darkness the world around goes cold and frigid as I can no longer hear the white-winged ones calling for me. Only the sounds of battle between the black and the white, the dark and the light, or as some would say the evil and the good. I am carried for hours and when they release me I’m in a small dark room with a thin window letting in moonlight. I struggle to my feet, which are bare and no longer covered in the cute purple slippers that matched my little dress. Suddenly my few memories return to me and I puzzle through them and finally find out: my name is Crown Princess Luna Sol Eclipse, of the Guardian’s Queendom, as I had been for many lifetimes, every other lifetime to be exact. I am ten years of age, in this host that is, and I am betrothed to a young lord, who is currently eleven years of age, whom I will marry when I come of age in five years. I remember being out on a ride on my pegasus, Esme, and accompanied by twelve guards, all armed and ready for danger when the Fallen Wings attacked us, killing all of the guards and Esme, and I had fled only to get trapped in the dark cloud. I stood up and started to pace wondering why I was kept alive, normally they kill me if I'm over two years of age. I had been pacing the cell for about an hour before I finally received an answer, in a way.
“Yo, princesa what you doing pacing like a mad man,” a young male voice said from outside the cell door, his voice sounding like waves caressing the beach.
“Well come in here and find out,” I spat the words at the ocean-blue eyed boy who stood by the window in the door, his shaggy blue-black hair in his eyes. The boy grinned at me and looked stright into my light purple eyes. The boy said in a soft voice the words I would remember for the rest of my life and all of my next lives...
“The cowards are killed slowly by the foe, but to own the dagger that kills has much more honor.” The boy turned and walked away from the cell as I stared after him his words lost on me for a few days.

The words finally come to me just as the blue eyed boy visits for the second time, he watches from outside of the cell and he grins when he sees the spark of remembrance in my eyes. I grin as I whisper the chant mother taught me to rip the soul from my body, and send it into the mortal world where I would stay until my soul was awakened. I finished the chant falling into the arms of the blue eyed boy, whom had entered the cell a few lines ago, and I let a wicked grin show on my lips as I died, disintegrating into a pile of ash leaving only my moon charm necklace behind in the boy's hands. The last words I heard were, “I will find you again princesa! No matter the world, time, planet, dimension, Mortal or immortal... I will find you and then you will finally be mine…”
