"T-this is the last time" I sobbed as my skin meets the blade. Crying from the burning sensation. As I watched the blood go down the palm of my hand to dripping down to my arm and fell on the white carpet. "Shit," I say as soon as I think how im going to clean up the blood. When all of a sudden I hear my door open. I turn around to see my sister Violet staring at me with wide eyes. I quickly dried my eyes that were red and puffy from all the crying I was doing. And pulled down my sleeves. Which just ruined my shirt because blood was leaking through the sleeves.

"Ok I know this looks bad but hear me out it was a total accident," I said trying to get her to not tell mom and dad. She just looked at me like she's seen a ghost walked over hugged me and told me " it's okay we'll figure this out together" she took the blade out of my hand and stared at it, cleaned it with a wipe. After the blade was cleaned and taken away from me she asked why I was cutting myself. “It's like if I do this it will make all the pain disappear and ill finally be worth something in life and it will make me forget,” I said not holding back my feelings. “Forget what?” Violet asked curiously. “Nothing important. Just don't worry about it.” You see im gay and I haven't come out to anybody and I don't know if my Family is homophobic. I guess I’ll have to find out the hard way.

After my talk with Violet, I cleaned my arm, put on a different long sleeve shirt, and ate breakfast Violet drove me to school. This should be interesting
