The boy looked to the horizon; in the farthest corner a cloud made of ashes surrounded his legion turning to dust, right in front of his eyes.
The chaos about to happen would be colossal, just in the same manner as every time in the same small paradox of its reality, he stopped for a moment and made a choice, he retailed the same plucky act he had repeated so many times, he got up and took the nearest sword laying in front of him, watching how it upgraded in his touch, he absorbed every drop of light, and with one last breathe he aimed at the translucent clock hanging in front of his eyes, redirecting the light at the very heart of Cronos and scattering al around it.
Cronos laughed at him, the strike hit right on his heart, still, it accepted it, and just as expected it mirrored at the relic stone suspended over his head.
- Did you really think that would stop me? - An evil smirk showed up on Cronos face. -You have already tried that, you know you can´t kill me.
The boy smirked and said:
- I was counting on it. - His voice was as cold as ice.
He took one last look at the horizon into what was left of his legion, while tiny sparks made from the substance that made everything rose from it, from the smallest carved in a necklace to the biggest that recovered its original form from a sword.
- Your dream is now your prison. - This were his last words as he vanished in a cloud of black ash.
The clock stuck into Cronos chest, luring the rest of the sparks in a row around him.
One last showed from death´s heart, not far away from there. Cronos froze in it´s place, unable to move, he looked at his torso starting to dissolve in a blow, there was no power in the world that could save him now, while he was being absorbed to the sky and into the relic, sealed with the same power that gave him life.
The relic stone fall to the ground, it buried directly to the planet core, so fast a blink in time would be nothing. It encrusted right into the core and in no time fused with it. An unprecedented explosion took place, bigger than anything the future could yield, the power that started all life began by destroying any trace of a future that would never happen to be and a past that never occurred. It just occurred without any trace but the leftovers of a relic dissolving into every corner in space until no one knew about its existence.
Nonetheless, this is the beginning of our story, the forge of a new future, the consequence of one selfish act, breaking every paradox there is. Gods won`t be perfect anymore, demons will stop being bad and angels will destroy instead of save, time has come, to write everything again, to write everything correct.
