The time was nine o'clock in the evening, and the stars were shining brightly in the sky.
Atlas was laying down on the lawn of Korea National University, looking at the starry sky which wasn't exactly the same as in his previous life, and he couldn't help but wondered absent-mindedly. Could it be because back at home, he was an American and not a Korean?
Originally, he was from Catskills, a small town in New York. It was quite far from the city itself, and was surrounded by high mountains.
Life in the countryside for him was not the best by any standards, but it was his birthplace. He had spent all his time growing up enjoying the beautiful gift of nature, albeit its boredom.
It wasn't until he enrolled in New York School of Arts that he changed his environment. His aim? To be the next Steven Spielberg, and his dream was alive, until that faithful day at the gas station when a brain-dead lit a cigarette near naked gasoline.
He could still remember the events of that, clearly.
The large mass of fire which completely overwhelmed everybody at the gas station. He recollected stretching his hands forward, trying to grab something, but there was nothing for him to get the hold of. Nothing but endless white light.
After what appeared to be eternity, he recalled opening his eyes and finding himself in this strange world called Eridania.
In this world, he was Sang Young, a student in the Arts Department of Korea National University. Fate really had a long hand.
Could anyone believe that he was originally an American who, somehow, was now inhabiting an Asian body?
Even he himself couldn't believe it, but fortunately, he knew quite a bit about Korean culture. And compared to his previous world, Eridania was similar in most aspects, albeit some minor differences.
Talking about the technology in this world, it was as advanced as in the past, but the entertainment industry was very backward.
So, in order to support the development of the cultural and entertainment industry, all countries have introduced strict policies that were open and free in creation. The degree of this freedom of various types of works was quite high.
Although the cultural and entertainment industry was still slightly backward, this was projected to be an era in which the cultural and entertainment industry was to fully take off.
In his previous life, he was already a director. As a newcomer, he established a firm foothold in the director circle with several low-budget works.
After that, he tried some big productions, which generally did well at the box office and his fame was catching up with the top veteran directors in the country.
Before his transmigration, he was filming his largest-scale investment since he started his career. Unfortunately, he died while he was still filming that work, but he was open-minded.
He knew that the old him was already dead, and there was nothing more to say about it. It was time for him to start over in this life.
What's more, he was an orphan and a loner in his previous life and had always focused on his career. He did not start a family after becoming a famous director. So, there was nothing to be nostalgic about.
Unfortunately, in this life, he was also an orphan. He was supported by kind-hearted people when he was younger, and became self-reliant after he was admitted to university.
Now he was in the second semester of his junior year. Speaking of his characteristics, apart from being good-looking, he dIdn't seem to have any other special features.
Fortunately, he had accumulated experience in his previous life. Although he had just traveled through time, he had worked in the entertainment industry for many years in his previous life, so he already had some plans for his current situation.
This era when the entertainment industry was strictly protected and in a state of disrepair was the biggest opportunity for him to make a name for himself.
He had discovered before that as long as he recalled carefully, the entertainment works by notable directors and producers he had watched and read in his previous life would automatically emerge in his mind, with every aspect being extremely detailed. In this regard, he could be like a supercomputer.
The biggest problem, of course, was funding. If he wanted to make a movie, he would need money. This was an unavoidable problem. He was a junior student who had not yet graduated, and he wanted to raise investment for a movie.
For this reason, no investor would agree even if he talked big. So, he could only rely on himself to raise money.
Atlas, a young screen director, was aspiring to be the biggest name in the entertainment industry when he lost his life in a tragic accident. His mind was transferred into the body of a young Korean orphan in a parallel world where he saved the troubled beauty, Sinai, while fulfill his life goals to produce world-renowned superstars as the ultimate king of the show business
