A thin and grey metal needle, coming from a robotic device with the looks of a hand connected to the pale-marine blue color tiles, which was injected in Dynel's wrist, where three thick tattoo'ed connected themselves.

He had no family, no friends, his only life goal were the jobs taken from Hourglass.

Sometimes he's in luck by succeding every job and coming back in one piece everytime.

His face is stuck in the same position since he joined Hourglass, the same monoton, blank and empty look.

The daily eating routine is powdered oats, powdered chicken, and canned water. Only the rich people can afford entire chicken, entire breads and entire fruits. The workers from the association can afford powdered food, and the poor ones eat what remains from the rest of the population, scavanging in the bins from all around the moving picture of Gom.

Reward is the only thing that he needs, a reward from Hourglass, that he can't think about it now, because Hourglass is here.

At home he took care of the most precious thing and the thing that kept him going in this misery of "cleaning" up the criminals like a maid cleaning a dirty room, he took care of all. The item was a - - - - - . Even he couldn't believe what he owned, but it was there, in front of his eyes.

Usually Dynel 220 would wake up early in the morning, around 3.30 and 4 in the morning, to go to the Hourglass Association, where he was assigned another miserable job.

As they were assigned a gig, a contract was made by the injection in their wrists, which was a lethal poison that would be released if the job wasn't done as it should have been. 

Driving around the high-city with massive blocks and small saplings inside glass compartments as a small museum at every 200 meters, the bright glowing ads panels on buildings, blinding Dynel even with his grey sunglasses on. So much electricity that the toxicity and the radiation coming from it would weaken your bones and make you throw up if you weren't used to it.

Garbage thrown in the dark corners where no one would bother to pick up, or either they were too scared to do it, just to not get robbed. They would sell the teeth in their mouth just to not get in situations like this, where they have to face the same red-blooded human as them, their kind.

The space cowboys were the worst kind of people and mutants, but not because they were ferocious or anything, but they were annoying as hell.

Suddenly, a drone blipped with the color white a few times, while targeting Dynel with it's big red glass eye, that was moving just like a normal eye.

"Ey, you're the bounty' hunter around theeeese places, aren't ya'?"

Asked the space cowboy with a neon lasso in his hand, the color purple. His shaved skull had bionic changes, with chips and other metal materials stuck inside his hand, just like paper accesories, stuck to the shaved head. On top of his head, he had straight pale-purple hair, looking like a part of a mop. His clothing, full black latex suit, with an tank-top on his chest, and gold accesories, where it could be found on 9 of his teeth too.

Dynel did not say anything, he started at them and waited for the action to happen.

The man looked around, at his crew and talked to them just like giving out a speech

"Out of curiousity, if I may, please, what are you getting from these, ey?"

Seconds of silence have passed, but Dynel continued. Opening his mouth, he talked, but no sound came out at all, only a pure white silence.

The cowboy laughed so hard that he let his lasso down, holding his stomach with one of his hands, wiping the laughing tears with the back of his finger he suddenly stopped.

"Ya' hear boyo's? I didn't even flinch an emotion at Midnight Menance, but this guy' teared my laughing out! Can you believe?"

As they continued laughing, a drop of fresh rain fell on Dynel's nose, making him look up towards the constant rain showers and the grey inhabitation saddened him day by day, eating him by the inside like a disease, the worst. The flying cars of the rich people, poluating with their wooden fuel over the city's houses blinded his ears, one of the things that he could never be used to... the sound of hope being destroyed, the sound of nature vanishing.

Dynel prepared himself to take his hand-gun out, which was charged with artificial lighting.  

The main rider saw Dynel's gun and backed off a little bit, putting his hands in the air and laughing his words out, it was like his personality was taken over by some kind of substance, or his personality was taken over by some kind of other personality.

Quickly taking out his gun, Dynel shot a bolt that touched 8 of the cowboy motorcycle riders at once.

The main rider with purple hair screeched his intention of killing out, taking the neon lasso from his belt, showing it towards the Dynel while licking it clean with his bionic, leaving saliva all over the lasso, which melted in steam in about two entire seconds.

Hearing their chief's actions, the other riders prepared themselves for an incoming fight.

Dynel pressed te bubble inside the middle of his throat, that was coming out like an object, out of his breathing tube, and stopped the time, where he fought all of them, dodged all the bullets, the laser lasso that was extended four meters in front of it's host, like an elastic whip, close to taking out Dynel's head. The fight took 2 seconds outside Dynel's mind, but 25 seconds inside his mind.

Heavily breathing and holding it's eye sockets with both of his hands, firmly holding them in place and cutting it's own skin with his nails, he asked Dynel.

"Dynel, forget - - -, I can give you any woman that you want, 

"You can't put a price on - - -"

The purple haired rider chuckled, then inhaled deeply once

"You're right here, boy, but something like that I wouldn't even dream with my eyes closed"

Dynel pulled the trigger and the cowboy king's head lowered, but he stood still, sitting down, with his pride up.

He swallowed once with the same blank expression on his face

"Emotion doesn't exist, it was either erased from the face of the planet or it is a myth passed down by generations"

Dynel swallowed once again, knowing that the drone from before, blipped after reading his out of ordinary thoughts.

If he remained, Hourglass would have no mercy against this kind of originality in one kind of person, it sensed change and Dynel would have his memory wiped with a pink pill or have his consciousness put on a hard drive and have his memories replaced with another consciousness.

Dynel took down his white jacket and quickly threw it at the single 360 moving camera from the room, blinding Hourglass for two quick seconds.

He ran towards the black tinted window, shot it with a lightning bolt from his gun and jumped through the black and sharp, falling pieces of glass, where four men waited and heard his conversation with hourglass. 

The men had grey glasses, with entire, creatively colored suits, with shapes and colors, and white masks that would hide their face and only on their mouth, there was a metal device with which they would exhale in and out.

There was a fist fight upcoming, that ended in Dynel coming out with one teeth knocked out and his hands hurting, and the four men lying on the ground, one on the control panel, the other one on the seat and the rest two on the ground.

He left the door open and run through the Association that looked like an desk office, but there was no vegetation, nor doors, only digital, metal ones.

Groups of same colored men with white masks ran after him, screaming towards him, but Dynel saw an door to his right that was slightly open and quickly went inside and smashed the control panel with his forehead, that's how much his knuckles were hurting him.

The damage to the control panel made the door to remain slightly open, but stuck.

Inside the office room, there was a beautiful women with short and pale-blue hair, who looked like was waiting for him.

She was dressed in combat-costume, something with which she would be ready to fight in.

"Dynel 220, working for the Association for what... 13 years, wow, not missed one single day, and for that I will give you three options for this particular moment. One, I have your memory installed in an hard disk and place your consciousness into the most wealthy men on the planet, if you lend it to me, willingly. Second, I take it by force and put it into a slug and live the rest of your life crawling. Third, you... against Hourglass"

"How sure can I be for the first option that I can take your word for it, it sounds way too convenient for me"

Said Dynel, with a slight smirk on his face, something that felt very good to him, to feel the movement of his face muscles moving on their own.

"You can't, that's the catch, I could do it or I couldn't"

She smiled

Arms were coming through the opening of the door and loud bangs were being hit inside the metal door.

Dynel knew he had little time, so he quickly thought out a plan.

"I think I'll go with forth option, the option Mark Bam would choose"

Dynel turned around and put a small climbing lock on the door, on which he fixed a piece of thin, brown rope, which he extended towards Hourglass. 

He prepared himself and ran towards her. Picking her by her waist, Dynel jumped out of the massive window behind the office room, protecting her with his back, while he locked the climbing safety on the design from her clothes.

The men jumped in the room after opening the door, but it was too late for them.

Dynel was in 300 meter free fall, while Hourglass was hanging by her sleeve.

She smiled while looking down to him, but took her look away once, after one of the men called her name and Dynel wasn't there, on the ground, injured or dead.

"Find him and bring him back to me. Call the whole Country, the hunter 202 WON'T GET HIS TICKET TO FREEDOM!"

Screamed Hourglass to the men, while four of them were carefuly taking her up.

The whole subway was conjured with darkness that my eyes slowly got used to it.

 The rest was an open space of the subway was messed up with human sized cocoons

Blood sucking mutants, or the Nocturnals cave, that's how it was called, the place that was closest to him from where he could get his ticket. 

Laughs were heard from the back of the station along with some tremblings of the surroundings. 

Shapes after shapes were covering the darken shadows of the subway.

Flying and running towards him, were the blood sucking mutants. They looked the same as humans, but their skin was pale and fine, but some of them looked really different, almost genetically mutated.

They came with hundreds, and Dynel had only 25 rounds of lightning left, which about his calculations, it could take out around 400 of them.

He had no equippment on him, his only way was to get the ticket and get out, but not after taking out as many as he could.

The battle was ferocious, Dynel could barely walk on one of his legs, the other one was bitten with tens of inches bite marks. His bone was already ruptured inside and his skin was pale from the bite around his body. His lightning gun only could fire 15 rounds, leaving him with his bare fists, the metal device inside his skull burned to crisp, along with half of his brain. 

He saw the stairscase with a glimpse of hope coming from over them, from the outside. It was the path towards the "exit". Near the stairs, about 50 meters towards Dynel, there was a small screen that was drawn on, so he could barely see what was written on it. Dynel was moving left and right, not succeding in staying still. His eyes blurred out, constantly zoning out and lightheaded, Dynel extended his wrist towards the disk player of the small screen of the thick TV with plastic back.

"Congratulation, Mark Bam, 8.000 points, you have achieved Freedom, enjoy!"

The message and the voice were both lovely, it was exactly what Dynel needed to hear and see then. His tattoo from his wrist dissolved into his hand, and another purple one, with "Traveler" written on it, engraved in his skin.

He laughed like a mad man, covered in blood and mixed blood of his own and the green of the blood sucking mutant's. Held his face, as his body tilted left and right, stood still for a few seconds then continued his path, dragging his leg towards the stairs.

As he walked on the stairs, with his barely opened eyes, Dynel could see the bright blue sky, feeling a warm touch from it, along with the pure white clouds floating above. He could hear the chirips of the birds and see them flying around.

He walked a few more steps and sat down on one of the stairs, thinking to himself that a quick one-minute break could come in handy.

Dynel placed himself on his back, closing his eyes for a moment. Behind him, the concrete staircase and the handle near it was covered in his blood, like a trail of a warrior.

The sun continued shining on his bloody, full of dust and sweat face, and on his messed up hoodie too.
