Episode 1 (Pilot) - Happy Anniversary Part 1

In what looks like a technologically advanced temple where a red and blue giant robotic man wearing a mask followed by a beautiful fox like pink robotic woman with wings and some other robotic giants and a floating orb like sentry with a single blue glowing eye.

“THERE!!” the red and blue leader points to a sinister looking robotic man with a silver pointy armor, a cannon attached to his arm, a blood red eye, a cracked black eye and fangs.

“You’re too late, Optimus! Once I place the Matrix onto the altar, Cybertron will at long last be MINE!!” he laughs villainously while holding a golden artefact with a glowing blue gem.

“The Matrix of Leadership will NEVER work in your hands, Megatron! Not as long as I, the Prime, live for it literally is bonded to my spark!” Optimus calls out to him.

Megatron snarled then grinned “Then it looks like I have no choice, but to kill you, Optimus!” he jumps down and his cannon arm transforms into a giant blade.

The team gets ready to fight, but Optimus raises a hand “This is my fight.” his right hand morphs into an axe.

The pink lady robot grabs his arm “No! Please, Optimus. Last time you fought him, he killed you!”

He looks at her lovingly “Last time, I was driven by anger, hate and revenge. This time, I am driven by purpose, clarity and love, Elita-One.”

“Are you quite finished being nauseating, Prime?” Megatron sneered.

“Finished? I’m just getting started. I WILL go on to Hawaii this year and drink a mai tai out of a coconut!!” Optimus raised his axe before charging at Megatron.

“Ha! Of course your ambitions would be small! You’re not the REAL Optimus Prime! You’re just a lowly carpenter who uses trash to make more trash!” Megatron jeers before charging at Optimus.

Just before they were about to clash, everything freezes and there is a voice over...

Hi. I’m Orion Pax. I’m a happily married man and I run a small yet unique and rather successful unique and custom-made furniture shop of which I take discarded yet intact items and transform them into beautiful pieces. What can I say? I’m an artist. I’m also the giant red and blue robot over there with the axe. Optimus Prime. Leader of the Autobots and owner of the Matrix of Leadership. I know what you’re thinking. How can I this and that at the same time? Well, get comfortable, take a seat and... take a drink and snack if you like because it is a long story. In fact, it began about twenty-five years ago long before I even met the lovely lady who would become my wife. April 12, 2000, when I was star gazing. I was sixteen at the time and still living with my dear parents Victor and Susanne Pax without a care in the world.

A teenage tall boy is eating cookies while star gazing but freezes upon seeing what looks like a meteorite falling so close and so clearly towards the Earth that he does not even need the telescope to see it.

“Cool! A meteorite!” he grabbed his camera quickly and took several pictures as the meteorite fell and quickly disappeared over the horizon, making a faint booming sound.

In a crater in some woods, it is revealed that what fell was not a meteorite at all, but some kind of small satellite. It opened up and silver ball rolls out onto the ground with a blue eye that shows nothing, but static emerges before becoming active and blinking before it hovers up.

“Oh no!” the orb gasps before opening another hatch to reveal an artefact made of gold resembling a planet with a ring encasing a glittering and glowing though it had a crack that grew and grew while it glowed brighter “No! No! No! No!”

The orb took cover before the gem exploded, and the pieces flung up into the air illuminating it as though it was daytime before everything went black again. The golden casing was now in husks as was the satellite the orb and artefact came in with only a single blue slither remaining in the crater within the crater.

“Oh, nuts and bolts... One is going to crash his system... Sigh...” the orb used a tractor beam to absorb the shard into his eye and then clean up the rest of the evidence left behind.

He then materialized a meteorite, heated it up and then slammed it down into the crater to make it look like that is that all that fell from the sky.

“Ok. The evidence is gone. Now get myself an alt mode and find One.” the orb looked around “... And how long I’ve been away!”

It then hovered off into the night. Meanwhile, in the suburbs, the boy came out of the gazebo where he took cover and looked up to see everything was normal again.

“Meteor... shower?” he commented when he noticed something glittering in the grass.

He checked it and found a beautiful blue glittering gem in the form of a blocky heart. He picked it up, but soon discovered that the edges were sharp as he cut himself. For just a second, he could have sworn that his cut was glowing blue before coming inside and still holding onto the gem.

Twenty six years later, but not at the moment where Optimus and Megatron are about to clash, the boy who is now a grown man gets down on one knee holding out a jewelry box with that same gemstone now smoothed out and outfitted as a pendant on a gold chain to a beautiful redheaded woman.

“Ariel, would you do me the honor of joining me for dinner tonight and a night on the town in Griffin Rock City for our anniversary as husband and wife.” he asked smiling wide behind his moustache.

Ariel gasped upon seeing the pendant “Oh, Orion, it’s beautiful... And yes! I would love to!”

He got up now towering over her as they kissed, and he helped her put the necklace on.

“How did you even afford such a beautiful stone, dear?” she asked as she admired it.

“Actually... it was mine to begin with. I found it years ago just lying on the grass when I was just a teenager. I found it in the attic while I was helping mom and dad sort through some old stuff they left behind her before they moved out to their condo. I only paid for the chain really and to have the gem cleaned up.” Orion explained.

“I love it and I’m looking forward to tonight, honey.” Ariel repeated when their bulldog got their attention by pushing his bowl forward “Heh, for now I think Roller would like us to join him for breakfast.”

“Oh, I can’t. Wheeler wanted me to come in and help finish Daniel’s birthday gift. I also have a commission job to finish.” Orion recalled.

“That’s alright. I’ll feed Roller and lock up. You take care of the morning so we can have the night, Orion.” Ariel smiled at him.

“Oh, we will. I’ll be back early. Love you.” he said before they kissed again making Roller grumble while rolling his eyes and then went out the door to his pickup truck.

He then saw a couple of teenage boys in the street tossing around a backpack while chanting the “the cat’s in the bag” and when one boy catches it, the bag thrashes while screeching.

Orion’s blood ran cold and then boiled before he ran over to them “PUT THAT CAT DOWN RIGHT NOW!!”

The boys scattered and ran leaving the backpack behind as it thrashed and twitched.

“Ugh... It smells like they were high too... There, there, kitty. I’ll get you out.” he carefully handled the bag before zipping it open though what flung out was an owl wearing a flight suit with a red robot face on the back.

The owl perched up on Orion’s pickup truck staring at him intensely right into his eyes with the pupils dilating up and down in what felt like an eternity before flying away. He watched the strange bird fly away before getting into his car and driving off to his employment which was a workshop stationed right in the junkyard. His current project consisted of finishing an order of four custom gamer chairs made from using car seats. He just had some finishing touches to do as well as adding the personal details for each player’s seat. In his workplace, one could see several other pieces he made using things people discarded like some ottomans made from carpets, an office desk using the remains of a piano or several beautiful hanging or standing lamps made from random things among the other beautiful pieces of furniture he had created.

“Wow, OP! You really outdid yourself this time.” his coworker and friend came in adjusting his cap while his shaggy and wild white hair stuck out on the sides like wings.

“Thank you, Wheeler. I had a lot fun doing this. Is that it? Daniel’s gift?” he noticed the colourful machine.

“It sure it. It’s little Danny’s very own personal ice cream machine! It can make it in any flavor, hard or soft, and it even has a topping dispenser! And it’s super easy to clean. You just gotta do it once a month. I even made an instruction manual for it. Let’s give it a test, shall we, Sparkplug?” Wheeler turned to his assistant and friend.

“If we can get vanilla right, you’ll become my grandson's favourite uncle, Wheeler.” Sparkplug finished whisking the mixture and poured it into the open hatch before closing it, then Wheeler turned it on lighting up and play a tune.

In just a few minutes, it was ready, and Wheeler pumped a serving of ice cream for each of them.

“Mmmmmm, now YOU outdid yourself this time, Wheeler.” Orion commented.

“I agree! Now you can add this to the list of things you can make. Cough cough.” Sparkplug rubbed his throat “Pardon me. Cold’s gettin’ to my throat.”

“Last time, the hot coffee got to your throat, Sparkplug. Maybe you should see a doctor.” Orion adjusted his glasses.

“It’s probably just allergies, but I got my annual check up on stand by anyway. I’ll mention it and see what my physician says.” the older man reassured them.

Wheeler’s face then fell.

“I’m ok. Really.” Sparkplug patted his back.

“N-No. It’s not that. I hope... Sam doesn’t force him to return this too like he did the custom grill and fridge I made for them.” he looked at them among the appliances.

Sparkplug’s smile faded “... He won’t. Sam and you have your differences, but there’s no way my son would dare take away a gift from his own son just because he didn’t like the guy who gave it. That’s cruel.”

Wheeler gave him a look “Sparkplug, I... I hate saying it, but he forced Mikaela to stop working her after they got married because we were all men and it him uncomfortable. She loved her job and going places with her mechanic skills and body shop work for cars. I mean, who else was ever able to bring a 1960s convertible back to life in under a month?”

As that went on, in the distance, the same owl who Orion saved from the troublesome teenagers was watching Orion. As its pupils dilated, it made a mechanical sound.

“Orion Pax.” the owl said out loud.

This series is rated M as it is made for grown ups BUT it is not angsty. It is basically Transformers meets Sailor Moon.
