Chapter 1: Welcome to U.A
(Disclaimer!! I own nothing of MHA!)
Some students were joining together against a mastermind in some kind of knight costume.
She did a finishing blow at them hoping it would stop them in their tracks, but one of the kids jumped in the way.
That kid, happens to be my best friend, Izuku Midoryia.
Oh, I’m Ochako Uraraka, its very nice to meet you.
They say that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and that saying couldn’t be more true for all of us.
This is our story, and you should pay attention cause its starting right now.
In a world full of superheroes, there are 2 that stand out against the rest; All Might, and Hawk.
Hawk has the power of flight, invulnerability, and superspeed, while All Might has an amazing quirk that makes him super strong.
Sometimes they are seen as teachers at school, but as trouble lurks from the corners, they put on their costumes.
I’ve always admired one of them, as he is the father of my friend, who most people know as Deku.
It was the first day of school, and Deku was doing his usual warm up routine to ready himself for the day.
The routine involved lifting weights, running on a treadmill and punching a bag.
Apart from that he had did some martial arts practice.
His dad, Hisashi Midoriya was watching him.
“Kid’s got a lot of spirit. Kinda like me,” he said to himself.
“I guess that’s the reason why I fell in love with you,” said Inko.
His mother came by and knocked on the door.
“So you have everything you need for school?”
“Yea, uniform, lunch, books and all of that,” Deku said.
He pulled out a special notebook.
“Even my big book of hero studies.”
She hugged him.
“I was worried you’d give up after finding out you had no quirk, but look at you now, still going on.”
He smiled.
“Well I still have my knowledge of Martial arts,” Deku said, “That could count as a quirk.”
I came out of my room to greet his parents.
“Well look who’s waking up early,” he said, “Deku should be down here any minute.”
“I noticed some debris near your house so I decided to move it away for you,” I said.
I had the special quirk of anti gravity.
I could take anything that was big or heavy and practically take away the weight.
Deku came down.
“There he is,” I said, “The future hero.”
He chuckled and said, “How can I be a hero without a real quirk.”
“You have the greatest power out of everyone,” I said poking his forehead, “Your brain. Who else can absorb all that knowledge about heroes and put it to good use.”
“Uraraka is right,” Inko said.
Hisashi’s phone rang.
“Hello?” He asked, “Giant monster? Attack on the city? I see.”
He went to his hideout to put on his suit.
“I’ll see you afterwards son,” he said flying away.
Deku and I were later walking to the bus.
“Its pretty amazing how your dad was born with 2 quirks,” I said.
“Well both his parents were heroes when he was a kid,” Deku explained.
Deku is an amazing kid, smart, kind, encouraging, and knows a lot about superheroes.
We made it to the bus.
“Hello, is this the bus to U.A?”
The bus driver shut the door.
“Are you out of your mind?” He asked, “I guess you want every hero and villain to know about our school.”
“Uh…. sorry,” he said.
The bus driver looked at him.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Izuku Midoriya.”
“As in…… the son of the hero Hawk?” He asked.
“Yes,” he said.
The bus driver shook his hand.
“I’m a big fan of his.”
Yeah, his parents were quite popular.
Two people started to get up.
One of them had strange ears, and the other one was small for his age.
“Here you can have our seat,” he said.
“Oh its ok you don’t have to….”
“Yea but I want to,” said the small one, “Come on Kyouka, let’s move. So he can sit next to his girlfriend.”
I blushed at the thought.
“OH nonono, its nothing like that,” I said, “Deku and I are just good friends who support each other.”
“Right,” Deku said.
I just took a seat for myself which as right next to Deku, and he sat next to a blond haired guy.
“So, what’s your quirk?” Deku asked him, “My name’s Izuku by the way.”
“Denki,” he said shaking his hand, “And I prefer not to say yet. I wanna surprise the crowd.”
“Uh…. Same here,” Deku said.
Someone was behind me.
She had strangely huge hands and a long tongue.
“U.A High school is gonna be a blast,” she said, “I’m Tsuyu.”
“Uraraka,” I said greeting her.
“And before you ask, yes my powers are based off a frog, but I’ll prove to the world that I’m hero material.”
The bus was starting to go super fast.
“Um…. What’s going on?” Deku asked.
“Why are we going so fast?” I asked.
A worm hole begun to open.
“Oh boy,” Deku said.
We went into the worm hole.
It was full of a lot of colors and strange objects.
“If this is some kind of joke it’s not funny!” The earbud girl said.
Everybody was freaking out, but I was amazed at the wormhole.
Another portal opened and teleported us to the school.
“A word of advice,” the bus driver said, “Don’t be late for the bus because the bus waits for nobody.”
He stopped Deku.
“Except for you Izuku, if you’re late, or early, or you just wanna talk…”
He passed him a card.
“Give me a call,” he said, “Jeffery Stronghorn. Bus driver.”
He caught up with the rest of us.
We were seeing people with various powers walk to the school.
Somebody was running circles around us.
Another one stretched out his arms.
“In honor of the welcoming commitee, we recommend that you turn over any money you have to us,” he said.
“Really funny guys, I’ll take it from here,” said someone.
It was a girl with long hair.
“Hello and welcome to Ultra Academy,” she said, “My name is Starla Thompson.”
As Starla was going on with her speech, Deku was awestruck.
“…..And if you follow these guidelines you won’t be expelled.”
We all chuckled.
“Now if you’ll follow me, we can continue on with the day.”
I grinned at Deku.
“What?” He asked.
“Oh nothing,” I said, “Cmon let’s go.”
I tugged his arm and dragged him in the building.
