"What is family? What does it mean and consist of? A mom a dad, you your siblings, is what normally comes to mind, but over time the patterns change and the ingredients differ but the cake that creates a family is the same, two moms, two dads, one more or one dad, multiple parents, biological or honorary. Even friends, when you love them the most, they can be considered family. Sometimes a family could be a bunch of strangers who all love and protect each other, and at the end of the century-er day, that's what family is about, love and protection.

Sometimes families hurt each other, and sometimes a family dissolves from turmoil and abuse, but I'm sure once they escape the pain and anguish their true family will be right around the corner waiting to hold them. Family isn't just blood, it's the people in your life who want you in theirs, and they'll accept you for who you are no matter what. 

Sometimes a family could be two people in love, and that's all it takes.

Our family isn't very typical, it's quite nontraditional, though I'd personally love calling it unmodern, but it's all I have and ya know…I wouldn't trade anything in the world for it.
