Chase’s Pov
As I woke up I realized I’m in a white room in a bed that resembles a hospital bed. Taking a look around I can tell something is off. I felt my arm - something I did all the time when I was little- and just as I got to my forearm, it started feeling like a bunch of small flames were flickering and wouldn't go out. Even after moving my hand away from my forearm, the small fire-like feeling was still there.
Taking my hand and running it through my hair, I noticed that something felt off. Deciding to go through it again, I notice my hair is a lot rougher than usual. Now don’t get me wrong, my hair isn’t as soft as an alpaca’s, but it shouldn’t feel rough and dry like horse hay.
“Forget it” I think. "I can worry about this later."
Who knew a hospital bed would feel better than my own. Pulling the blanket over my head, I start to feel like I was going into hibernation; the warm, soft feeling of sleep. The room is so dark that I can’t even see my hand, or even the outline of it. Just as my eyes close, I hear a door open. I ignored it, thinking that it was far away. My perception isn’t the greatest as all the noise fades into the background
Just before I relax completley I only have one question on my mind, and this is where am I?
Third person pov
As Chase’s eyes grew heavier by the second, letting the darkness take him without a fight. Under the influence of melatonin, Chase slept. His blanket would rise and fall with each passing breath. This confused the nurse.
You see the blanket rising and falling wasn’t the issue but the fact it’s a pile of blankets moving was what made the nuse stop. The light green eyes started at the figer, wondering when this had happened. This man is known as Atlantic. The black haired 5’11 male with light green eyes Atlantic hunter. Looking through the slightly clear window filled with fingerprints, As Atlantic was building up the courage to go and see the mysterious patient all because of the way he was brought in.
