The question's right there in the title, so I'm gonna answer. At the beginning of VOT, I had the concept clear in my mind, but then on one episode, the plot accidentally changed when it wasn't supposed to. So now, I've been having some troubles with it. That's why I took so many breaks. See, Alora wasn't supposed to stay with Silver's camp. She was just supposed to pass by, but I have no clue why I wrote her staying. (Wow that rhymed) So, I'm going to rewrite VOT. I'm going to change the time period, and a few other things from the plot. I couldn't get into the elemental thing, even though it's one of my favorite plot devices. I'm going to start the rewrite as soon as I can. I won't delete this update, but I will delete the other chapters. I may copy them to another board thingy (whatever they're called), but they won't be visible on this one. Hope y'all understand.
