I open my eyes and immediately look at my alarm clock. Yep, 2 A.M., just like I thought. This had become the usual recently. I’ve always woken up in the middle of the night; at least when I don’t have obligations early in the morning anyway. I don’t know why this happens, but it does. I’m not really complaining though because I’ve always been more of a night person than a morning person.

After getting out of bed and freshening up I decided to do something productive with my time. I stirred around in my head for a bit looking for this so called productivity, but man is it hard to find. I guess I’ll see about getting something to eat.

You know a thought occurred to me while perusing the local cuisine, what if I’m a vampire? That would be pretty ironic since my name is Edward. God I hated that series. Wish my mom didn’t force me to watch it as a kid. Like why did I have to go to the theaters and see them on release when I was in elementary school. Does that not count as some sort of child abuse? Whatever. If I am a vampire I’m a pretty bad one. Never had a craving for blood in my life and the only blood I’ve ever tasted is my own; just tasted like pennies to be honest. Not very appealing when there’s burgers, pizza, and good 'ol ramen in the world. ...Damn I’m a genius! That’s what I should get to eat. Time to look up where the nearest ramen place is and pray that they’re open in the middle of the night. Also just so we’re clear I didn’t try my blood on purpose ok. It just happens you know what I mean. You accidentally mess up your fingernail and it starts bleeding. That sort of thing. Anyway I’m off to find me some ramen.
