Logan had gone out into the woods for some peace and quiet. Camping was just a way for her to decompress and get back to her roots. She had grew up in the mountains with her grandparents. So she always felt more at home here. Especially in these woods. After all, they were a part of her grandparent's land. She knew every rock and tree, where the best berry bushes were, and what spot where salmon would jump and land on rocks so they were easy to catch.
When she was younger she wanted so badly to live in the city. Thinking that she was going to have a fabulous life out there where everything happened. But honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. So many expectations were laid in front of Logan on what to do and what not to do. She had to dress a certain way or act a certain way as both a woman and an alpha.
Before she lived in the city she hadn't really considered what made her a proper woman or alpha. She just simply was. So out here, she could shed all that weight and just simply be again. She didn't have to worry about fashionable clothes and just be comfortable.
All she had to worry about was her next meal and making sure nothing else got to it before her.
Logan crested a steep hill and took a deep breath when she saw her favorite camping site just down below. Grinning to herself she began slowly walking down with her walking stick resting on her shoulders. The rocks on the side of the hill looked stable as always, but her grandfather did warn her about the extra rain possibly making them a little loose. So Logan tried to take extra care.
Then she heard a twig snap nearby, looking in the direction as she took a step, she heard a crack and the rock broke below her sending her tumbling down the hill. When she reached the bottom she stared up at the sky groaning. She checked her head to make sure she didn't spilt it open. Thankfully it seemed like she hadn't. Blood trickled from her forehead and she let out a low whine of pain.
"Shit..." She cursed, thankfully it seemed like she had only cut her forehead. Maybe a light concussion but nothing serious. "That's going to hurt in the morning." She hissed wondering why she had let herself get so distracted to do something so stupid. She looked up the hill to see her walking stick broken in two from the fall.
"Damn." She complained to herself before slowly standing up. She was on the other side of the stream from where she wanted to be. But she was not in a position to be picky. Slipping off her backpack she got out her sleeping bag and first aid kit with some food. It was best to rest for now. She'd make her way over to her campsite later.
As she treated herself, she noticed a slight sprain in her ankle. "Seems about right." She grumbled softly, she stripped off her dirty shirt to change for a cleaner one. As she did she heard a distant trilling noise. She paused and looked over not seeing anything at the tree line where the noise had come from. She strained her ears swearing she heard soft purring but shook her head. That was ridiculous.
No one was out here. It was just her. Slipping on a new shirt she decided just in case to keep her gun nearby. The sun was about to set at this point, so she made a small fire close to the river on some rocks. Just for lighting. She also set up her solar lamp as well. Sliding into her sleeping bag she popped a couple of pain pills before drifting off to sleep.
The sound of purring woke her up and the smell of flowers filled her nose. Opening her eyes she saw a figure sitting on her hips staring at her. Her eyes widened and she reached for her gun only to have it swiped from her hands. It tossed the gun aside and leaned down to get a better look at her. Through the light of the lamp and fire, Logan could see this figure was a male. He looked like he might be an omega. Smelled like it too. He... Really... Smelled like it.
Logan's eyes widened.
He was in heat. Had this been an enclosed space Logan would've choked on his scent. But thankfully there was a good breeze coming through making it less intense. The omega dipped his head near Logan's neck and sniffed. A familiar trill came from him, Logan's eyes widened. He had watched her earlier!
A soft happy cry sounded out from him as he sat up. He smiled at her and fluttered his eyes flirtatiously. Was he doing what she thought he was doing? He climbed off of her and Logan could see had some sort of loincloth on, he lifted it up and got on all fours presenting himself to her. Slick leaked from him thickly and Logan swallowed staring at this sight. He looked behind him at her and smiled letting out another trill lifting himself higher in the air.
"Uh..." Logan felt her face get hot, this was very tempting. But she couldn't. The little guy couldn't even talk! Let alone the fact she didn't know how old he was or where he came from. "Sorry buddy, I... I don't know you that well." She apologized holding her hand up, the omega paused and then shifted looking displeased. He pouted sitting on the ground in front of her. He threw the nearest thing at her which happened to be a roll of bandages to show his displeasure. Logan caught them and sighed.
"Look I can't just do that to you because you're in heat buddy. I don't even know how old you are, or where you came from... Also, call me a little traditional but I'd like to meet your parents before doing something like that." Logan confessed sheepishly. She slipped out of her bag and the omega who had glared at her spotted her bandaged ankle.
His eyes widened and he looked guilty. "Hey don't feel bad, it looks worse than it actually is," Logan said with a grin, she slowly crawled to the end of her sleeping bag next to where the omega sat. He shifted looking a little uncomfortable. Logan couldn't imagine what it was like going out in the wild in heat.
"Hey." She said getting his attention, "You want some food?" She offered getting into her bag and pulling out a candy bar. It was chocolate, all her omega friends loved chocolate when they were in heat. She opened the wrapper feeling the omega eye her, she broke off a piece and handed it to the omega before taking a piece and putting it in her mouth. "It's good..." She said teasingly. The omega took the piece of chocolate into his mouth and ate it. His eyes widened and he let out a loud trill of excitement. He cupped his face and moaned in pleasure.
Logan laughed, "See I told you." She said breaking off another piece and handing it to him. The two of them shared the candy bar and Logan grinned at him. "Good stuff huh?" She asked, the omega licked his fingers before eyeing her. "What's up, little guy?" She asked the omega then pinned her down under him and straddled her waist before she could even process what was going on. "Hey!" She exclaimed getting nervous.
She didn't want to have to hurt the little guy, he shifted and cupped her face before tilting her head and licking near her mouth. It then occurred to her that she had chocolate on the corner of her mouth. "He-Hey!" She tried to shove his face away, "You don't need to lick my face!" She exclaimed. But the omega licked the corner of her mouth until he was satisfied, his tongue slipping in a few times flustering Logan. But Logan could do nothing but lay under him embarrassed while sighing. "I had more chocolate." She groaned feeling embarrassed.
She knew it wasn't sexual but his scent was starting to get to her. The omega's dark eyes blinked at her and he let out a purr. He rubbed his cheek against hers clearly scenting her. "Geez, you don't need to mark me with your scent." She complained but didn't stop him. He wasn't doing anything too out of line so she just let him do whatever. "Honestly..." She grumbled before lightly shoving him off of her.
The omega climbed off of her and watched her curiously. Logan then pulled out another candy bar and unwrapped it for him. "Here, you need it more than me." She told him feeling tired. The omega trilled with delight and eagerly ate the candy. Logan took the chance of him being distracted and slipped into her bag zipping it up. The omega let out a cry seeing that he didn't have complete access to her body again.
"I'm tired!" Logan announced turning away and ignoring the omega's chattering complaints. Burying her face into her sleeping bag she tried to ignore the smell coming from him. It was starting to make her brain a little fuzzy. It was better to go to sleep than to do something she might regret.
