The sunlight danced through the curtains, painting soft golden lines across Ha-jun’s bare shoulder.

Min-kyu was still half-asleep, his face buried in Ha-jun’s chest, listening to his steady heartbeat like a lullaby..

"You’re warm..." Min-kyu murmured, his voice hoarse from sleep.

Ha-jun chuckled, brushing his fingers through Min-kyu’s messy hair.

"That’s what you always say."

Min-kyu looked up, lips brushing against Ha-jun’s collarbone. "Because it’s always true."

Ha-jun smiled, eyes half-closed, and leaned down, placing a soft kiss on Min-kyu’s forehead.

It felt like nothing could touch them. Not time. Not pain. Only each other.

But then, Ha-jun coughed. A deep, chest-shaking cough.

Min-kyu sat up, worried. "Hey... you okay?"

Ha-jun held his chest and gave a weak smile. "Yeah... just dry air or something.

But Min-kyu noticed. The pale tint on Ha-jun’s lips. The way he hid the tremble in his fingers.

"Maybe we should go to the clinic later."

"Min-kyu..." Ha-jun reached out, pulling Min-kyu into a slow, warm kiss. "Don’t worry. I just want to stay like this. Just for a little longer."

Their kisses were slow, lingering, almost desperate — like they were trying to memorize each other..

They stayed in bed the whole day. Reading. Kissing. Laughing. Pretending that everything was still perfect..
