AGENT ZERO:
ZERO HOUR
1
INT LABORATORY NIGHT
A scientist frantically rifles through papers and tools in a messy laboratory. The faint sound of bombs dropping can be heard in the distance. The bombs get louder, and louder, and the scientist throws everything he has collected into a briefcase.
He scurries over to a large electrical switch and throws it with all his might. A massive machine springs to life and creates a circular portal in mid air at the center of the room. He enters it as the last bomb hits its target and destroys the lab.
TITLE SEQUENCE - “Yesterdays to Come”
Towering mushroom clouds reach toward the sky and fold in on themselves. The smoke clears and the rubble begins to rebuild itself in a time lapse as if someone hit the 'undo button'. The buildings become a city of impressive, futuristic design.
On the rooftop of one of the buildings two men are running across, already in pursuit. The chase stops at the edge of a multi-storied rooftop and the pursued man turns around.
The pursuer, a government AGENT, draws his gun. The fugitive raises his steel case bearing a radioactive label above his head, ready to toss it down below. The AGENT hesitates to make a move, beads of sweat trickle down his brow. His prey flinches and in a split second decision the AGENT fires.
