Prologue

Stacy smiled as she got out if her father's car and in to the parking lot if the new amusement park Takakanonuma Amusement Park. Her father had put extra effort into it so it would be ready on her birthday. She watched as the roller coaster sped by on the tracks and giggled. Her father looked at her and without warning her father and said.

“Tag your it.” she laughed as he ran a distance and stopped and beccond her to come.

“Look at this place.” He paused and looked into the distance she snuggled up next to him and looked at the ice cream. Her stomach growled and her dad growled.

“Well my angel lets get some food shall we? Bur make sure not to ruin your white dress.” Stacy laughed and hugged him though her small hands only made it halfway around. Her dad smiled

“Well my six year old princess where should we eat?” he lowered himself down so she could clamber onto his back.

shouldn't we wait for Julius and Liza?” she said confused. Her friends did say they were coming didn't they? Her father laughed and shrugged.

“Come in dont be such a party pooper lets go. And I have a special surprise for you.” But you can’t show anyone it is VERY expensive. She nodded in agreement whenever he said something like that it usually meant it was super cool but she also told Julius and Liza everything. Julius was the smartest kid she knew and could come up with a logical explanation for almost everything. Liza was more nose in book but was a good friend nonetheless.

“Can I just tell Liza?” “no.” “Julius” NO!” her fathers yell echoed across the park and several heads turned. He blanched and led her to a nearby diner called Fortezza Medicea went to the front counter and ordered miso ball soup and a beer. As they settled down he pulled from his jacket pocket a china doll with brown hair, blue eyes, and a pilot's suit on. Stacy looked at the doll in wonder. Never in her life had she had such a wonderful present. Her dad watched her and laughed. She smiled and he stroked her hair. She curled up in his lap and went to sleep. She woke up seconds later to her dad hauling her out of the Fortezza Medicea there was a loud crash as the roller coaster fell into the cafe Stacy screamed and hid behind her father whose eyes were stretched wide with guilt. For what Stacy did not know. Then she felt a tremor through the ground. She screamed someone grabbed her and the world went dark. Later that night police were inspecting the two bodies one of a six year old girl her white dress stained with blood and guts next to her was the manager of the park glazed bloodshot eyes staring sightlessly into the clouds. What had happened to them?
