I mean, I’ve been in a wheelchair before and it sucked but… it was also kind of fun?
I hated life and not being able to move freely and felt all the self deprecating stuff, but my friends pushed me around the school and I had races with another kid also on a wheelchair and my scout group carried me around whenever I went to visit. It sucked but it was also amazing. Being confined to a wheelchair longterm or permanently can be disheartening and depressing and angering but… it depends on each person’s situation and context and personality and the people around them too?
