In the vast multiverse, countless realms exist some vibrant with life, some swallowed by darkness, and others untouched by time itself. Yet despite the endless expanse of creation, most living beings, especially humans, believe they are alone. To them, the sky is the limit, and the universe is an empty, silent place.
But they are wrong.
Beyond mortal sight, hidden between layers of reality, dwell ancient and powerful beings known as Seraphim. They are the watchers of the higher realms silent guardians who observe the rise and fall of worlds. Their presence is never felt, their shadows never seen. They stand above the flow of time, guiding from afar, yet forever forbidden to intervene. Every action, every destiny, every tragedy must unfold without their touch.
For they are bound by the unbreakable laws set by the Absolute Beings, the first lights of creation. Under these laws, the Seraphim hold the second-highest authority in existence. Their essence is pure, unwavering, untouched by mortal flaws. They do not love. They do not hate. They do not grieve. They do not feel anything.
At least… they shouldn’t.
But among the countless emotionless watchers, one Seraphim was different.
He observed humanity not with cold detachment, but with something dangerously close to empathy. He found himself lingering on their struggles, their hopes, their pain. Something in him stirred something he was never meant to possess.
His name was Kael.
