Inside Ravens Academy for Elites
At the rooftop
"Don't come near me!" A shrill voice echoed throughout the rooftop. The person's mind is swarming with all the thoughts that they kept inside for a whole year. They did not want to end their life but it seems like it's the only choice left. It is either suicide or murder.
"Stop this, you know that it's not anyone's fault. He still-"
"Shut up!" The figure at the edge of the roof squeezed the knife's handle until their knuckles turned white. Their knees started to shake and they can feel their throat closing up. Their breath came on short gasps while tears started flowing down their face. A river of tears wasted for a pleasure that is not worth the pain.
"You're in pain, I know. But you don't have to do this!"
They don't understand. How could they? Even I mistook it for happiness, for pleasure.
"Can you hear me?! Look at me! Calm down!"
When did I start to confuse pain for pleasure?
"NO!"
He never intended for things to end this way. He made mistakes but he thought that he solved it all. He was confident that he will get what he deserves.
"DON'T!"
"Tell him that even though it hurts, I still love him. I still love the pain because he is the one who caused it. I can take anything, as long as it is from him." It was the figure's last words as he plunged the knife and falling to his death.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"
A scream pierced through the night's silence as a thud followed that the darkness and silence swallowed.

The next day...
"Where is he?!" He can see his figure running towards him. He said those words with a series of gasps. It seems that the figure just heard the news and immediately run towards the hospital.
A soon as the figure approached him, it grabbed his shoulders and started to ask him.
"Is it true?" All he can do is nod his head and whisper. "It's not your fault."
"No. I'm the one who-" No. Stop. This was never your fault. It will always be mine. I was the one who was already there. If only-
"It is my fault!"
