It was an average make-up day at seedling high. The teacher was teaching and the students, well some of them, were listening. "Okay class, now who can tell me what the subject in this sentence is?...no one? okay then how about you Annie?" "Um...I think its "Jake." Annie said in a quiet voice. "Correct." The teacher said. "Hey Annie can I borrow a pencil? Mine broke and I don't have a sharpener." Mason said. When Annie handed Mason another pencil the P.A. system turned on. "Attention students, teachers, and staff. Do to some difficulties a power outage may occur, During that time I shall ask you all to remain calm. We will try to do what we can to get the lights back on. It may take some time so please do not scream or panic. Thank you." "Okay boys and girls when the lights go out we will pause teaching." After the teacher finished speaking, the lights went out. not even the emergency lights turned on. A few students reached for there phones and turned on the flash light. "Wow, not even the emergency lights turned on" Said Dave. "Don't worry, I brought my phone." Said Patricia. "Me too." Said Parker. 'Well, what do we do now?" Annie asked. "Oh! We can tell scary stories." Mason said with excitement. "Lets make it better. First one to scream, loose it, or pee their pants looses." said Parker. And so the scary school ghost story contest begun.
