A three-person family was preparing to move out of their old New York apartment. In an attempt to live a more peaceful life, they were getting ready to go to Canada. Twins Ciera and Lindsey are startlingly diametrically opposed to one another. Lindsey is more girly, whereas Ciera is more gothic. They used to have to share a bedroom in New York since they were poor, which led to constant disagreements. Their mother eventually had to take a high paying job so they could afford a better place to live. In school, Lindsey was well-liked and adept at forming cliques with everyone. Ciera was utterly unique. She only had one buddy who was now undergoing treatment at the hospital, so she would always eat lunch alone.
