"WAKE UP JI-SOO!" Louis shouted obnoxiously.

"C'mon...fifteen more minutes..." Ji-Soo Yong mumbled curling further into his bundle of blankets.

"Nope we gotta get some food! C'mon I know if I let ya sleep in you'll never get up!" Louis complained tugging a blanket off Ji-Soo's face.

"Fine, let's go then." He mumbled getting up and the two of them got ready to start their day.

Louis ran out the door and held it open for Ji-Soo as he groggily walked outside squinting at the bright sun. Louis then slammed the door, causing a loud noise making Ji-Soo more energized to get outside.

"Alright let's go then. You got money?" He asked Louis.

"Yep! Let's move!" He said excitedly marching towards the town.

"It's awful quiet." Louis mumbled.

" No, really? I hadn't noticed." Ji-Soo said sarcastically.

"Yeesh, ya don't gotta be so mean about it. All I said was that it's kinda quiet." Louis complained.

Louis looked at Ji-Soo who seemed to be distracted by something. Louis turned around to see a tall humanoid figure standing in a small alleyway. The figure seemed to be taller than the average human, it was around ten feet tall and it had grey skin. It's arms were also weirdly long. The most terrifying part was that the arms ended in in long, razor sharp claws. The creature had no eyes, yet could somehow sense the two boys' presence. After a few moments of staring Louis finally broke the silence with a mumble.

"What is it?" He said.

"I'm not really sure what to call it." Ji-Soo replied.

"Hello?" Louis asked the tall creature.

Almost immediately the figure threw itself at the two boys who stumbled back more terrified than before, but now able to move. They both sprinted as fast as they could, not really going anywhere just trying to escape the terror that pursued them. The tall figure followed them until, in a desperate attempt to escape, Louis took a sharp left turn while Ji-Soo kept going straight. As the monster followed Louis down a side road and into another small alley, cornering him. As Luois thought this would be the end, a shadowy figure zoomed behind the eyeless creature. With a loud boom the the figure hit the creature and sent it flying away from the alley. And before Louis could think, the shadowy figure was gone.

A few moments haf passed without Louis realizing it. And Ji-Soo was now crouched down in front of him.

"Are you okay?" He asked frantically.

"I-I think so." Louis managed to stutter out as he stood stiff with his back against the wall. 

" Is it gone?" Ji-Soo asked.

"Yeah," Louis replied.

As they headed back to their tree house neither spoke a single word until they reached the safety of their small temporary home.
