She woke up and wished that she could just fall asleep again. She could, right? right! A smile hushed over her face, cuddled up so deeply with the mattress, it really looked like she wanted to hide in it.
Like a thunderstorm her so beloved brother walks into her palace.
"Wow that smell. So terrible. Whos hiding here and where's my sister, skunk?"
John snickered and stole the warm soft blanket from his defenseless sister.
"You Asshole!" She snapped and tried to grab him, he dodged, amazed how clumsy his little sister could be. While he was full of grace and elegance, dodging her furious attacks, she landed like a slippery fish on the floor.
"You really need to clean your room and by the way, you know that us humans need air to breath? I mean, fresh air."
"Can you please just shut your fuc.."
"Kids, breakfast is ready and I dont want to stress you but you're nearly overdue."
"Luck is on your side. This time." Xia grimly whispered, while her eyes told him that she really cared for him, beside all the hate.
*Atleast I'm not too late. I hate math. Why can't we just have sports? I mean, everywhere. We could paint with our toes, woohoo - that would be so funny. I count that as a sport, because i say so!* Xia smiled, until a person just ran into her.
"Its fine" *You would be THE one, permitted to paint with his mouth, eyes closed, nose taped so you can't breath*
Xia took a deep breath. Why was this temper trying to get the best of her? Maybe because it IS the best of her? No, it wasn't. She knew it.
Nearly everyone else doesn't.
"Oh, look whos there! Xia. A little bit too late, ..." Miss Brimstone sarcastically said, with her melodic sing-sang voice.
"Yeah... i'm sorry" That happens way too often and she didnt really know why. Mom always was in time with her, but she thought about so many things while she slowed down more and more. On one very stupid day she even achieved that she just walked past the class. Missing it completly and started to think that it might have disappeared. Kidnapped by Aliens with strawberry-bandanas. No, neither was she high nor was it her first day.
"Xia, can you please tell me the answer?"
"Sure. It was the emperor yin-sai-tang who won the war with many men, but mostly with a few siren"
Puzzled, the teacher nodded "Good. Anything suspicious about that?"
"Yeah, because siren aren't very common in those areas"
"Huh dummy!? It's fantasy! Sure they aren't.."Very common" it's just non-existent!" Xia felt a strange sensation, as her eyes fixated his. Eric. That stupid ass nerd.
There it was. A deep breath. Thinking of thousand insults in all possible ways she could imagine and then, when she was about to unleash it, the bell interrupted her precious showtime. Well. Fine. But there is always enough time for a very poisonous stare!
"Freak.." he muttered, but she could feel how he was getting uncomfortable and she chuckled.
Some people hate her. Some love her. Nah, to be honest, very few people love her. But she was okay with that, she just likes to stand her ground, even if it means to get into a fight.
Oddly, she started to think about this feeling... and hell no, it wasnt love! Xia couldn't describe it, couldn't,, she couldn't barely sense it. If she would talk about that, everyone would think she fell in love with the nerd, what she clearly didn't.
A sigh left her mouth, leaving the schoolyard and walking home. On her way home she always passes through a small forest, more she scratched the edge of it. Mom and dad always told her, that she shouldn't go there. But it was such relief. Being with the nature, while no other humans were around. She closed her eyes and immediatly stopped.
It was itching, like ants on her skin. It was weird at first but somehow she knew that feeling. She shook her head and slowly opened her eyes. Something was hiding and observed her.
*A weirdo maybe. Hopefully not in such way, that he walks right to me... being nakey nakey! Or.. with diapers.. or..*
She felt some kind of fear - to her surprise.
She could hear it.
As she released a scream like she was getting brutally murdered, the thing that kept hiding must have heard her too.
Xia loved sports. But not so much if she thinks she was getting murdered if she slows down a bit. Breathless she fumbled with her keys, jumped right in and smacked the door with such force that the loud sound provoked someone else.
"Hey girl. Listen, I will not say that many more times. You need to calm down. I know you have too much energy but who's gonna pay for the new door?!" Dads voice, sounding deeply as ever, who couldn't be mad even if he really wanted too.
"Yea, I won't if i'm dead!!!"
She took two steps at once to reach the second floor.
While she tried to clean up her room, because of the adrenaline that demands to be used, she thought about what she saw.
*It was, like a freaking robot owl.
It wasn't, really robotic was it? Maybe the nerd.. oh boy. THE nerd. He will die. I promise.* her lips curled up in disgust, as she was thinking how he was pissing his diapers because she let out that enormous girly scream.
*No. It wasnt robotic. It was like metal, but it looked also super realistic? Well, but honestly I didn't even look that closely .. I just grabbed my legs and ran like hell was going to be unleashed. But I... I could swear... what I saw in those eyes. Was intelligence.*
