I'm a middle child of three, a bluegrass musician, vocalist, and a forgiven sinner. I dabble in fanfiction and original fiction as a creative exercise, and have a passionate love for science fiction, some fantasy, and westerns.
I grew up six miles from the pavement, up on the side of a mountain, and was exposed to novels at an early (probably too early) age as a substitute for the human company that the rocky roads tended to discourage. I grew up reading Robert Louis Stevenson, Timothy Zahn, and Louis L'Amour. Nowadays, my reading tastes are . . . even more eclectic.
