After having grown up and spent my young adulthood in East Tennessee, I moved to Philadelphia, PA, where I began writing the CANNONVILLE HEROES series which takes place in the fictional town of Cannonville somewhere in Southern Appalachia, inspired largely by my experiences living in that part of the country.
