Hello everyone, here's my little update regarding Tapas end of service, it's the same thing I wrote in my last comic update but it sums up pretty well everything I want to say, thank you so much to everyone who followed me here to read my comics, I really appreciate it.
"Hi everyone! due to the aforementioned circumstances this will be the last comic I post here in Tapas, this has been my go to platform for webcomics ever since SmackJeeves died and wow, such is destiny that now I have to do it again!
Also, a little fun fact, I went down the rabbit hole to find out why SmackJeeves died and the circumstances were exactly the same as Tapas, a foreign company bought SmackJeeves and it slowly got worse and worse until it died, honestly I can say I experienced the same thing with Tapas, I've been here since the site was called Tapastic before the change in administration and it was great, support for artists was more accessible and the platform had a design that seemed more appealing to me, not to mention the inclusion of Soundcloud, that was such a good and original feature :(
It sucks that literally if you wanna use a webcomic hosting platform you have to investigate who owns the company to make sure your comics are not going to shit in the future...
I'll be reposting my comics to Namicomi and GlobalComix, after an extensive investigation these two seem to be the best options for my interests and if anyone is looking to monetize their comics, gain community and read other webcomics confortably I recommend these two as well, they have a neat design, great support from admins, community and helpful tools for monetization as well."
