Hello to my Tapas followers, I have news to share.
For those of you familiar with Soul Fall, that story I left sitting dead for a hot minute. That was always just a preview of what was to come, and served as a means of promotion for the main Discord Server of which that preview was based on. Well I'd like to inform you that I've just removed it from Tapas to make way for the PROPER series.
Final details are being worked out; but in an effort to raise awareness for the Community Discord Series (the whole of Soul Fall) I want to tell some stories off of the server. Or perhaps until things pick up on that server, I might post all of my content for Soul Fall directly to Tapas and the other platforms I upload to.
So that'll be coming in due time. Again, final details are still being worked on such as what I will be posting and what we are going to do with the server (which HAS been launched public but remains kinda dead). If you want to read that preview again, I still have it over on Penana.
If you want to follow the story directly on Discord where the community is set to tell it, consider joining. Check the links on my profile for that info.

I figure that it's about time for an update since it's been what, a month(?), since my last update/chapter. So yeah, I'm still "out" and in turn Ravenlight is still out.
Quick recap- I finally got things going in that May-June period after preparing for the last 2 years (plus production setbacks)... and then a fire happened + a bunch of people passed away in July combined with my remaining family's response, also my brother leaving for College far far away. It knocked my focus/consistency off a cliff so I decided to shelve everything until I could properly return.
I have been building to that slowly and, of course, taking care of things that needed to be tended to as a result of July and August. I won't get into specifics about what's up (join the Discord for that lol) but things are getting close. I'd say by the end of the month or early next month that things will be back on track & stronger than ever. So if you're annoyed with the absence after everything basically just started, I apologize- please bare with me for just a little while longer. The wait will hopefully be worth it as I start launching things once more.
For more frequent updates, follow me on the ol' BlueSky or X (formerly Twitter) or even Facebook as I do post updates to all of those if they are significant enough. Otherwise my Discord is a good place to hang out.

So to those who saw the update post (BlueSky/X/Facebook)- yeah, holding off on posting new chapters till September (at the soonest) & sort of disappearing from social media just the same. Things to work through, searching for a new perspective, constructing a new attack plan. Basically going to re-attempt the 'bounce back' plan that got axed due to a lot of BS in July killing my mental health. However that isn't to say that I am disappearing entirely as I will still be active on Discord... and probably still will end up posting updates & "early access" content.
So if you want to keep tabs on what's going on or just want a place to hang out, feel free to join!!

Evening Book Ravens, just a quick update for you. I'm not going to be releasing Ravenlight content for possibly a little while. I've had some things come up irl that are certainly... something. I won't go into details but I'm presently uncertain of my ability to write or coordinate what has been going into the series, so for me I feel it is best to take maybe a couple weeks or a month off if needed. I will be certain to keep you updated, thank you.

Hey all, I'm a bit late to post but I figure I should regardless.
So, I know it's been awhile since I uploaded new content. And- a lot has changed (again). As of right now, Wings of Freedom is done. I'm folding it into Ravenlight and giving Ravenlight my full attention. That said I also have intentions of fleshing out characters aside from Elise going forward, so chapters might not be about her- or groups of chapters.
Time will tell what I do. Not sure about Void of the Stars yet or my as-of-yet-to-be-started projects (Red River and New Horizons). Stuff has just changed ("new" job, got promoted, lot of responsibility, lot of stuff new); but I am deadset on making Ravenlight blossom after being inactive for that dead stretch due to... events.
Currently it is February, also known as I Love to Read Month. March is National Reading Month. At present I am getting back into the game a little too late to go public in my February celebrations. No way will I have time to crank out content or prepare what I wanna do... March though, that's a different story.
Still I'd rather not leave February empty so I am going to celebrate another way, a Discord way. For the months of February and March, I am going to be doing special stuff over in my Discord.
Potential content: writing updates, early access to new chapters produced all month long, access to exclusive content streams, the ability to see new art (concept art, maps, character art, etc), access to something... special that'll replace the wikia (probably, maybe, idk), and a bunch of other stuff. Might even look into giving away physical copies of Ravenlight Book 1.
March I will probably go public with some of the celebrations, probably start uploading chapters again, probably start sharing and building the wiki & other things. Time will tell, we've just started this month.
Basically it'll be two months of me being on and off (cuz work) focusing like hell on Ravenlight and the community- because why not?

Hey everyone, Frost here. Just wanted to say I am still hard at work trying to get content prepared. Events in my life are settling down considerably at this point. A good few things still need to be address/dealt with, then I will be solid.
Ravenlight will return with Wings of Freedom and the new Void of the Stars. The latter two are still in the final planning stages as I look to readjust everything now in 2022. Once done, I'll begin posting to my Discord server as Early Access content for all members (free).
On top of that, I have a new server with a new link to share. It's a 2.0 if you will. As for why there's a 2.0 and for what happened to 1.0... just- it was easier to build a new one.

I'd like to apologize for a couple things real quick. I know I've done a half-assed job at posting chapters over the years, and lately I've been slacking on Ravenlight as well. And to that extent, I know some of the last few chapters might be considered a bit... lack-luster.
I've been fairly distracted by a lot of real life factors over the years, the last few months especially. BS with my job, bs with my family, bs with looking to the future. Just, a lot of stuff I won't get into right now with this but I'd like to say I am going to try to do better.
Ravenlight is currently in its 2nd arc, a short arc, which will be the end of the prologue before we kick off the Frostosis Civil War Saga in its full. For my Penana Readers, I am working hard on Project New Horizons as well, trying to figure out how to structure it and where to begin. For Wings of Freedom, it's in a similar state, if not in the middle of the two. And as for every other project (SoF, RR, etc), those are all going on break for now as far as future planning goes.
A lot is coming up in my life right now and I need to try to get back on track with my 3 major projects (Ravenlight especially). I am still highly passionate about writing and I wish to produce only the best stories that I can to entertain with.
Anyways, bear with me for now and I guess just keep an eye on my Twitter for more consistent updates?
