ANNOUNCEMENT (11/20/2025):
Profile Update: My profile has now officially updated. It updated on Sunday, so apologies for not updating sooner.
- Progress on 'AS&tB'
Still working on the story. However, I have good news! 'Ash Sleet & the Beast' will be released on Christmas Day (or the 26th of December according to Tapas scheduling- whichever comes first)!
While I haven't gotten to ten chapters yet, I plan to continue writing and scheduling chapters for each chapter I finish. Look forward to an official new story coming soon!

- Back in the Day series
Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to continue this series for the time being. Maybe one day, I'll return to it, but as it stands, I haven't done much with it in years. I apologize to those who were looking forward to more, but fear not! I do have plans for Tapas.
- New Series
I'm currently in the process of writing a book series called 'The Royal Prophecy', a high fantasy series with dark undertones involving fairytale prophecies being switched from their original Prince and Princess to someone else. The first book in the series will be titled 'Ash Sleet & the Beast'.
- Series Upload
So far, I've written up to six chapters of the first book. Once I've written up to ten chapters, I plan to upload it to Tapas. Hopefully by then I'll have a proper schedule in place as I'm currently juggling a full time job on top of everything I've stated in the previous post. Keep your eyes open for when this series arrives!
- Future Announcements
Going forward, I plan to do better of letting everyone know when something happens in my life. Whether it involves life, story updates, or work, I will notify everyone of what's going on so no one's left out of the loop.
- Overall Statement

How long has it been since I last posted here?
The answer: too long.
First off, I apologize for falling off the face of the Earth for the past five years (might be more, might be less). To make a long story short, in 2020 I got accepted into Full Sail University and put all my focus into that for two years.
Yes, I am a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. Yay! XD
After that, I began focusing on trying to find a career path in creative writing. I have two published short stories on Adelaide Literary Magazine under my legal name, but so far have had no luck getting anything off the ground.
On top of all that, I've also been busy preparing for my wedding to my fiancé of over ten years. We finally have a date planned and are going over immigration procedures since we're long distance.
However, despite all that, I have not given up on writing stories. There are so many ideas I want to share with everyone, yet I'm aware I haven't done much on this site since my first series. As of this post, I'm considering returning to Tapas to post more novels- more on that in the next post.
To sum everything up (TL;DR), life has kept me busy and I'm sorry for being gone for so long. I have some announcements to make, but I'll save that for the second post.

From what I've been hearing about the recent update to the site, novels that have italics have the italicized words removed. I have checked my novel and have confirmed that is the case. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. I apologize if my novel doesn't make much sense at the moment.
In the meantime, I did say I planned on posting new series on here but with the new revelation regarding these possible glitches I will postpone on that- and posting new chapters to Back in the Day- until the glitches are all worked out. Again, I apologize. ><;;

As you all know, there have been a lack of updates for the past two months. I apologize for this. The job I currently have at the casino is wearing me down, so I've been lacking inspiration due to stress...
I plan on taking a two week vacation in January, so hopefully I'll regain my creative drive by then. I know I've only been able to offer one series so far, but I do have plans for more series in the future. If anyone would like to see them, please let me know! ^^

No update for 'Back in the Day' this Monday. I apologize to everyone (still new to this, so I hope I have the 'notify subscribers' thing turned on; if not, I apologize in advance) who has been reading it so far.
Real life can be a real creative killer at times, so I'll need time to write out more chapters... In the meantime, I am considering posting up a new series. No official date set up yet but I'll keep you all informed once everything's been finalized. ^^
On another note, Inksgiving is approaching! ^^ I, unfortunately, won't be taking part as a creator this year as I'm still fairly new to Tapas. Might consider it next year if I hit my first milestone, so until then, support your fellow/favorite creators- I will be doing the same- and have a happy Inksgiving once it arrives! XD
