Hello there! My name’s Mel.
I’m an amateur artist, and I like making comics! I love story telling, world building, and making characters. I’m a big fan of horror and fantasy stories. I also love nature, and I like collecting rocks and fossils. I love being outside and hiking and generally like staying busy. I’m currently in college for biology, and I hope to one day be a conservation worker.
My hobbies include working, crying, eating, and sleeping.

Hey! I wanted to tell you guys that I’m now on Comic Fury! I haven’t played around with it too much because making progress on the actual comic is my priority. But take a look at my previous posts to see some short character bios!
Update on progress: I’m currently working on redoing thumbnails for the rest of the prologue. This is to accommodate that story change I mentioned before. After I finish the thumbnails, I will start working on new pages! Wooh! Hopefully I can get a new page out by the end of the year.

I got overwhelmed with mental health stuff and school, and it turns out overworking myself makes things WAAAY worse lol. Plus worsening perfectionism with art. And I had to address a major story ark for the comic.
So that is why I took a break. Hopefully I can get this new cover out sometime around June. I still want to recolor old pages to make them more appealing for new readers. And so if I ever show my friends I won’t be horribly embarrassed heh heh. After that will be new pages. I can’t guarantee I’ll have any out within the year, though. I’ve learned to put myself first.
So yeah. Last final is tomorrow! Hooray!

Unfortunately, I have not made any progress on Sunszai. It’s just really overwhelming trying to tackle a story, and WRITING IS HARD! Plus I am also working on another comic, and I am currently in college. I do intend to work on the story! It will just take a long time of hard work!

I don’t really want to advertise the comic much with these announcements (so no more promotional stuff) but I would like people to know about it.
