I'm Eggs! A 20 something visual artist who focuses on the whimsy and wonder of the macabre and fantastical. Born and raised in NY, I enjoy crocheting, video games, and tabletop role play games. In 2021, I graduated with a bachelors in Graphic Illustration though their true passion has always lied within comics and animation. I'm the author of comics such as Stars Burn Out, Opaque Intentions, and my first publication for the We Belong Anthology; Mushrooms Grew From Their Hands.

I haven't used this site in a loooong while. I'm sorry about that. For those that read Stars Burn Out I'm doing a big revival on my Comicfury with weekly pages. I'm also doing a lot more art of the characters and such and uploading the speedpaints on to my youtube. At some point soon I'll be removing SBO from Tapas all together and only using Tapas as a platform for short run comics (max of like 10-12 pages) just to save myself the headache with scheduling pages. Sorry this isn't the greatest news but I hope you'll visit SBO on CF to continue reading it!
Hey guys! Quick update! Chapter 5 is in the process of being inked and colored! I'm working as much as I can, but in all honesty I lost quite a bit of steam after finishing the sketching process. I kinda got the flow back and hope to have chapter 5 started for you guys in late November! Granted my physical condition (my wrists been pretty tight as of late) but if I have to reschedule anything I'll inform you guys either here or on my twitter!
Sorry for the big spam update I fixed some stuff with chapter 1 and 2, I'll be doing the same thing again next week with chapter 2 but less spammy since i know what im doing this time.

I realize I should have brought this up when I made the original announcement yesterday but it was far from my mind as I was working on other things as well as preparing for my orientation at school. My b;;
So If you have noticed I’ve slowly been updating the blog and gallery pages on the SJ site. There I will attempt to update things at least once to three times a month with illustrations and finished Character Sheets (not turnarounds as they aren’t necessary just yet) as well as working on some merchandise stuff that will be linked to both galleries. That being said;

Hey people, how's it going? Everything okay? (this is super long on here and I'm so sorry but you guys deserve to know)
So I guess you're wondering why there hasn't been an update in about a month or so. Well I've gone through a lot in this past month and I've been doing a lot of taking care of myself and making sure I'm good with myself. I was placed in the hospital for a short time and that's where it all started, Now I'm seeing a doctor regularly and I'm on medication for my depression. I'm hoping next time I go to my doctor I'll be able to get on something to help with focusing, that will improve my workflow and general motivation to work harder (more so than I already do) one this project as well as others I have going.
As far as SBO is concerned I'll be working on it again shortly, I am officially going to school (again) and I have a job where I'll potentially become a manager! Even with all that happening, I'll still be working on this as much as I can so I may have to load up on pages in the beginning of the month then schedule them, both on SJ and on the blog. I'm not sure Tapastic has a free-to-use scheduling feature so that may be an update when I can kind of thing.
Okay so the big thing that I really wanted to share with you guys is that Aiaa/Avery is going to go through a bit of a character design change, I'm only changing their hairstyles because I feel like themselves and their family should have natural hair rather than what I'd planned before. Though Aiaa/Avery's pa is Native American and has straighter hair, I'd like them to take after their father. (This will all be explained as soon as chapter 3 starts)
On another note-- New character sheets will be added later today so please make sure you take a look in the gallery for NEW!Characters and Illustrations of the SBO universe!

ALSO Never give up on your dreams please? I know in my previous post I said I'd given up but I was determined to keep this comic going because I'd invested so much of myself into it. Don't let minor set backs stop you from fulfilling a goal or finishing a project you've spent so much of yourself on. In the end it's worth it to wait, or move forward and continue your work.
