Hi Charles Chan fans! It's been a while, hasn't it? Firstly, thank you all for following this series. It's been a blast to make and I'm so glad you all have been loving it!
If you wish to show your support further, than perhaps this announcement will stoke your excitement: as of this week, I have launched a subscription service on my Ko-fi.com/charles_chan page (link should be available on my Tapas profile page). Ko-fi will now be the main hub for early access to new strips, PLUS exclusive access to a new spin-off series, "Charles Chan Presents"! All these perks for just $2 dollars a month!
What does this mean for Tapas? Nothing really. I will still be contributing to Tapas, but I will be holding off from new uploads in order to sync content to where my @meet_charles_chan Instagram account is at, which is about 9 back from my current content.
I want to again thank you for loving my work, because I love making it for you. I'm hoping to have you all as monthly supporters, as it will help me continue to entertain you all and make you laugh!
Long live Charles Chan!!!

Sorry for the long absence in connecting with you all! I've been beset by a number of personal setbacks, all of which have really hampered my availability and energy. To the winners of my contest a few weeks ago, thank you for being patient with me. I am hoping to have more spare time to resume work on your caricatures in the next few weeks!
Thanks again! Big hugs!
Hi fans, old and new! I hope you're enjoying the series, including Strip 12!
I honestly cannot believe I'm already at number 12! That means I have put out about 3 months of work on this labor of love! Wow.
A few things: I am still working on the caricatures for the winners of the Hit 100 contest a few weeks back. My attention turned to other things, unfortunately, not the least of which was a toddler with a flu, a newly adopted cat, and succumbing to the horror that the path I've chosen is a tough one. I'm working on them, and super excited to roll them out!
Which leads me back to why I wanted to address all of you and say THANK YOU for loving my work enough to subscribe to the series or buy me coffees or just simply following me wherever I have planted Charles Chan. I am quite literally doing this (for the time being) strictly for the love of story and making people laugh. My income is your joy, and hopefully I am earning well.
A very special thank you to those who reached out to me in just the last week, urging me on, letting me know they love and believe in what I am doing, and applauding my courage in pursuing my dream. Your words have been water in the desert. Eternal thanks!
Good evening everyone! This is a long overdue welcome to Tapas, but seeing as how there has been a wave of new subscribers, I thought to take the opportunity to say hi and above all say THANK YOU for subscribing, supporting me and my work, and enjoying "Charles Chan"! It means a tremendous amount to me! Don't forget you can follow me on my community pages on Facebook (@CharlesChanComicStrip) and Instagram (@meet_charles_chan) for blog-style behind-the-scenes randomness, profiles on the work and talents of my friends and miscellaneous art projects. If you want to show your support beyond your subscription, you can always go to my Ko-fi page (ko-fi.com/charles_chan) and buy me a coffee through direct donation! Cheers and have a great weekend!
