RIP our friend Zinzee , who died today at the age of 17! In the comic I made him black and white so that I did not flood the comic with orange cats from the get go, but in reality he wore a bold orange tuxedo! And in reality he was a complete LUNATIC with a lot of unexplained behaviors. See you on the other side of the RainbowBridge, Zin! I'll miss you ever time I visit the farm and there is no senile orange cat ignoring me while he walks away meowing at dust motes.

but, fo real real, the cat Meebo is based off of is awesome! He is my sister's cat. I drove to her place (she lives in the next state over) and was super stressed because I got lost and went through a suicide rotary AND I didn't have my dogs with me (it always stresses me to be without Zabu and Spike) . I walk into my sister's house all shaky and irritable and giant Norwegian forest cat "Meebo" walks up to me with this quiet confidence. I just reached down and grabbed him and cuddled the crap out of him, and he's all "Aw, Meebo make it better, strange girl. "
