It has always been my goal to create an interesting story with Carrot Soup. I also felt a deep desire to make a reputation for myself as a dependable creator, to that end I updated the first 200+ pages of the comic without any unscheduled gaps or deley.
This spring I had some medical issues and while trying to push through it I burnt out in a way that I am still recovering from. In the middle of this I was giving the opportunity to do something in my field, 40hrs a week for reasonable pay and while I am extremely grateful, I am still in the process of finding a way to do the comics and illustration work that I want to do with my new schedule.
I have been pushing through but at the expense of most of my productive downtime. I have been working until I crash out and can not process anything but mindless entertainment and I feel like it’s affecting my creativity. I need to watch, read and study things that will lead to better comics and art.
That’s a lot of excuses, now here is the meat of it:
I wanted to wait until the end of the chapter to do this but Im going to have to move to a ‘When It’s Done’ posting schedule. This is to make certain there isn't a dip in quality and that I keep making something that I can be proud of. I would deeply regret it if after all this time I didn’t give the climax of the first arc it’s due care in craft.
If anyone wants to stop or adjust their support on patreon I completely understand and thank you for what you have given so far.
When this chapter is done I am going to be moving to a Patreon only posting as the pages are finished and then putting up the last chapter of the first arc when it is completely finished. I don’t know when that will be but I hope that for those who have been following on Taps that it will be worth the wait.
Thank you so much for following along and giving your love and support to Carrot, Jonathan and myself. It has pushed me go farther than I ever thought possible and I have so much more to show you.

You're the person who'll be the new artist to Forbidden Sake, right? Well, I love your art style and wish you the best of luck at the new series! Sayonara! ;)
If you have been looking for a way to support Carrot Soup but the Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/queenswatchcat) is not a good fit you can now toss a few coins my way on the Tapas app.

Early pages?
I have been thinking about having an early (ether a week a head or the wednesday before) upload for people who support the patreon at $5 or more.
Is there anyone who isn’t supporting the patron now who would be interested in this? If not what price would you pay for early pages or is that just not something that’s important to you?

Another shirtless Jonathan, I'm sure no one will mind. I'm still trying to get a good handle on his body shape and I like drawing all his scars.
