Dawn Griffin, out of Havertown, PA, is a designer/illustrator/cartoonist, A.K.A. Certified Creative Workhorse. She specializes in “cute, funny & sophisticated” all-ages material. Over the past 7 years, her comic strip Zorphbert & Fred has been posted online with a growing readership, and now is published in 3 print volumes and ebooks. Dawn also illustrated the Abby’s Adventures kids book series, which promotes self-esteem in girls ages 3-8, and now boasts 4 books. Wanting to give back to the online comic community, she co-founded the Webcomic Alliance, offering free articles, tutorials, videos and a podcast about the business of digital comics. Dawn is originally from Cleveland, OH and still a Cleveland sports fan… so being the underdog trying to overcome the odds is nothing new to her. Her next endeavor: inventing the 30-hour day. And maybe a coffee IV.

Hiya! I saw your post on the Webcomic group on facebook about your thoughts on Tapastic and thought I'd check out your comic. I love you art style and I can see the dwindling views on your posts and can relate why you might be feeling frustrated with the site. One thought I have that might help you is possibly posting larger images (bigger is better on the site) and possibly switching from the horizontal format to a vertical format to go with the infinite canvas display. Also I noticed, this slightly frustrating thing about Tapastic, is after your comic series has been on the site long enough you no longer get the front page new release notice. A way to get back on the front page is to add a new series rather than an episode. Hope this helps some. Good luck! ps. love your logo! Huge gryphon fan.
