Sorry for being M.I.A. I spent the time away due to pregnancy and currently there's no holiday plans that I know of. I won't be able to host anything this year due to having a baby at that time \(@A@)/
However, there's usually fun secret santa events in the forums that happen around the holidays, or for sure, feel free to host your own holiday fun! Get all your buds involved and make something special. That's the best thing about it. ♥

Oh my, I've been away for a while. Sorry for the absence, I've been dealing with a lot of stuff recently. My days are mostly a lot of sleeping and nausea. However, I'm hoping that I'm finally reaching the end of all the nausea within the next few weeks. And then it'll be smooth sailing for the rest of the year. :D
As for Oops, there's still a few guest comics to share (sorry for skipping this week's posting day). Sometime in July we'll start posting rebooted pages of the first issue for everyone to see (sorry for not knowing an exact time frame). This week coming up, Jeramy and I will be traveling to Chicago for this year's ALA Conference, and it's going to be awesome! I'm hoping I'm not sick the entire trip, please send me your good vibes to make it through.
I'll definitely give a full report on the show's awesomeness, complete with fun pictures, when we get back. :D

Heads up, we're still staying here on Tapas. This isn't the first time we've seen crazy drama storms from Tapas and more than likely it won't be the last. Despite that, I think there are benefits to staying. Like all of you guys first! And it's encouraging that with each kerfuffle, the staff does attempt to correct it.

Also TBH this is the first I'm even seeing of this ToS stuff. XD Unfortunately I had a lot IRL to even notice.
Yeah, being a mod on the forums, sometimes the staffers will give us heads up on events or in this case the true intentions behind the clause. It wasn't put there for malicious reasons. There were good intentions however the wording could of used more details. No matter what, creators still own their work, it was there for the few creators that may get publishing deals. Tapas was saying with that clause that creators could approach them first inorder to get possibly a better offer or use their offer as a counter offer to the publishers and see if they can't get an even better offer. They mentioned how they've seen a lot of creators get locked into bad deals and wanted to give an alternative. The clause would have only effected a small number of creators however it's understandable some got scared and angry at the vague clause and it's also reasonable for those that are unhappy to leave. "Why stay someplace that makes you angry?"
So I get both sides, it's really unfortunate all around. The clause is removed so that possible bargaining chip for some is gone, and staff/artist relations are stained, and I've even seen a lot of hurt readers upset that creators they've tipped a bunch of earned coins to just leaving. This too will pass eventually. (︶︹︺)

hmmm, thanks Cindy for the clear up ....when ever someone starts a complaint with a rant I'm immediately suspicions they are pedaling for click bait. Tapas has yet to give me reason to doubt their intentions so I never though of leaving.

Good to see you'll remain here, for the time being at least. I'm also gonna stay and see what happens since this community is the primary reason why I love this site.
Happy to see you stay. I love reading here. This place is not only about reading comics, it's about being a part of a community that shares your love and enthusiasm for them. I am sorry to see Tapas put their foot in their mouth like that with such poor choice of words. I think there isn't one author in my list of 300 comics that hasn't said they've lost their confidence in Tapas. Such a shame. Not to mention the ones that they left already or about to leave shortly :-(

The new Oops Graphic Novels are going to be AWESOME! We finally have a ISSN for the series making it easier to get into stores, schools, and libraries. Volume 1 is a nice sized book of about 86 pages containing all of issues 1-3 plus extra content at the end. Volume 2 a hefty 112 page in full color containing all of issues 4-6 and more extra content at the end. SO EXCITED!!!
Come June 23-26 Jeramy and I will be tabling at the ALA Conference in Chicago. ALA is an AMAZING book school geared towards librarians. It's seriously more stunning than any comic convention we've ever tabled at. I'm both nervous and excited at the same time.
And for the next two months, I'll be posting fun content to the series twice a week. Q&A strips on Wednesday and Guest comics from talented volunteers on Friday. Thank you to all the awesome artists that provided guests comics. With their help, I'm able to focus on preparing the next issue to post online as well as prepare for the big ALA show while still consistently posting to the series. THANK YOU GUYS!
The next issue we'll be posting is the remastered prologue issue that'll replace the outdated and awkwardly out of place art style issues 1 & 2. Are you guys ready to see Oops with his hate back on again? lol

Oh my goodness! That's a terrible problem to have. When stuff like that happens it for a moment makes me wish I was renting again so a landlord would fix the problem ~_~; Aw, I hope it didn't cause too much damage.

Yeah I'm renting....the University still hasn't fixed it yet...it's been over 2 weeks...but they gave me the key to the next door apartment house so I can use bathroom there. This reminds of of East Europe...I've been 3 years in the USA and I can't say I see much difference. Heheh.
