I don't think I'll get to an update this weekend -- I had Covid for the first time for the second half of October, and my energy levels and sleep patterns are a bit messed up still. Fortunately not having any breathing issues, but I do get an annoying cough sometimes, which of course gives me a headache. All that to say, I'm trying to update as fast as I can and try to hit a mid-week page and a weekend page, but the schedule won't be consistent for now! (Buffer ran out.)
I'm fine, just taking my time recovering!

I remembered the date this year!! Spidersilk turned TWELVE this September 17th! (The site it debuted on is no longer around RIP)
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for reading!

Been busy for a few local cons and shipping for Kickstarter orders -- yay, those Spidersilk books are getting shipped!! I'll be getting back to pages as usual later this week :)

Getting ready to come back in April for Spidersilk!!
In the meantime...I drew this. These guys are in another of my backburner stories. Once my other novel is beyond the beta reading and editing stage, I'll be able to work on this more! ^^

I'm still on break. I decided to take the entire month of March off as well. February was not done with me when I last posted, and I ended up with more bad news that means some pretty big changes are coming up. I want to work on comics, but since my energy is limited I need to focus it on my assistant and editing work (income)! I'm looking forward to more dudes lost in the woods and badly timed flirting when I come back in April!
I did draw this at some point, so please enjoy! (He's from a novel I'm working on.)

There'll be a week or so without updates -- my cat is now sick, and we don't think she has many more days. I want to spend as much time with her as possible to make sure she is comfortable and not alone. This is coming right after another family emergency earlier this month, so I just need to take a little break!
Sorry for the shaky updates lately! I took on extra freelance -- much needed!! -- but between that and Patreon updates, I've found it difficult to get many pages done this month. I hope to get back on track soon!
Thank you for your patience ^_^

Hiatus news:
Hey! I apologize for the hiatus being just a bit longer than I expected, but I decided to just take it as a sign I needed a break from some things. My body said "stop," so I did. I was going through a bit of a changeup with my day jobs, then the injury, Kickstarter edits are dragging on, and the news has been... something...
It's just been a lot. But I'm really looking forward to getting back to Spidersilk soon! Hopefully this weekend!
Hope you're well! Here's some nice apple blossoms I found the other day.

Emergency hiatus. I have some kind of stress injury in my elbow, and need to put all non-paying art aside for at least a week to rest. I draw A LOT for my day job(s) and I literally can't afford to put those aside, so the only things I can stop for now are Spidersilk and any other fun art I might have kicking around in my head. Sunlit Silence is already on a slow release so I doubt this will matter much lol
Hopefully the stretches and rest will help! I'm not sure what triggered it. Possibly scissors again (garden shears did me in last summer; I've been doing collage lately though). I'd rather not push it. I believe I caught it early, so hopefully I'll be able to work out a new balance that allows me to work on art a lot but not freak out my body.
I'll rest up. Take care!

Sorry for the delay. An opportunity came up to create a new graphic novel of my own, so I jumped on it. There'll be more information about that soon! It's all happening very fast, so I've been putting a lot of work into it. I'll attach some inks of character art I worked on today.
Between all that work, and the extremely exhausting and horrible news in America -- the constant onslaught of it, and the escalation of it all. It's just draining.
I'll be working on the next Spidersilk page as soon as possible, and it'll be posted when I'm done. Hopefully tomorrow!
