Hi everyone! Just a reminder I'm not dead :D
I have a new chapter written and proof-read that only needs the illustration.
I gotta be honest, my motivation to work on MM has been pretty low, bc I have been incredibly stressed out by work, have been kind of unmotivated bc I feel like the story takes too much time and honestly did not perform as well as I'd hope it did recently. Nevertheless I am super grateful for the support it has gotten so far and I cherish every single view, like, comment and sub <3
My focus on the story will hopefully return soon as I actually WANT to continue the story so much. There is so much to come which I can't wait to share.
Also hopefully a rebrand for a new Name is to come soon as well.

Lemme tell you about what I've been working on;
As you could propably tell, some of the older chapters have illustrations that are pretty dated. Not only has my art style changed and my art improved, the characters (notibly Toby) also do look a bit different.
Now I don't really mind the older illustrations being a bit lower quality, since it's a good reflection of my growth as an artist, but I want people who read my first few chapters to get to know the story and the characters in the best way possible, and I felt like that was not the case with the old illustrations. The art was all over the place ... haha
Of course I don't have the time to completly redraw everything, so I opted for a better solution:
"Fix" the old illustrations so that the characters are better recognizable.
Chapters 1 - 6 have updated illustrations now. Feel free to check them out :)
I do plan to fix a few more illustratios when I have the time, but I felt like those were the ones with the most significant change.

However, I have been working on sth else in the meantime. Hint: look at the image attached ;3
Also: I am considering renaming Morpho Mons, since I believe the name doesn't truly represent what the story is about, as it's more about the Defenders than the Morpho Mons themselves.

yeah i agree with you renaming the name. it didn't focus much on the mons and i will be liking the new name when you do!
That's true :D I originally just adapted the name from the original story from 12 years ago, but the story has changed so much from the original draft that it just doesn't represent it anymore. I will see what I can come up with!!
