My promised next episode of Beardaughter planned for today is sadly delayed until later this week as Summer Vacations is taking up too much time and I got 0 spare time to write! 🥹
I got so much good stuff planned for Tryggve and Hjordis so no worries!
Also things are in the pipe for Bird of Pray too, last Pride episode and the first chapter of the prequel coming soon!

Since It's summer here and good weather, expectations from the outside world/family/friends is currently peaking!
🌸 Thus, from now on, BEARDAUGHTER will be updated on TUESDAYS only.
🌸I'm really trying to build up a buffer for BEARDAUGHTER so I may get some rest during July!
🌸 I'm also working on a Ko-fi page, getting some stickers and other cool stuff up there soon. Also a very cool exclusive y2k style hoodie for BIRD OF PRAY. 🆒

Here's some of the plans I got for for June before my vacation starts in July:
1. I'm planning on posting Beardaughter to Royal Road as well, in hope of finding more readers! 👀 But this is my main base.
2. I'm working on a pride parade art with Yosuke and Leon for this month's discord event. (maybe a little written side story around the pride parade in San Fransisco 1997! )
3. Will look over the first original chapters of Bird of Pray and post those.
4. Continue writing on Beardaughter and draw more art. But here's a pic of Tryggve all dolled up. I might have given some hints with certain metaphors, but Tryggve is most definitely part of the trans/demisexual crew! ❤️ 🏳️⚧️

Thank you guys! Tryggve's orientation isn't a central thing for the plot though, but it's hinted at everywhere throughout the story and I'm hoping that his struggles with body dysmorphia will be one of his redeeming qualities. 🥹

I'm both sad/proud to announce that Bird of Pray is officially a completed series! 🎊
This doesn't mean I'm gonna let it rest. Gonna keep promoting it, polish or edit some chapters and make it even better and in shape for paperbook publishing in the future.
I have two more books in the works and I've thought about my next steps and here's the plan:
Step 0: Will Keep posting extra material for BoP!
Step 1: I'm gonna start posting the PREQUEL Quaver about Leon's life before Yosuke this spring and summer and hopefully finish it around fall/winter 2026.
Step 2: make sure the draft to the SEQUEL Bananabreak (working title!) is in good shape before I start posting that one. Need to figure out the plot for that one, which might take some time. could be this fall or early 2027.

I'm back feeling much better. Sun's been shining outside and I think my inspiration and general mood is back in it's usual place.
Just updated Beardaughter and will focus on getting more Bird of Pray chapters out this weekend!

This online discussion happened today, I felt jumped and I'm right now pretty bummed out. Not gonna get into details, don't wanna cause drama.
But I got this sad dark hole in me all of a sudden and really don't know if I can write for a while. So updates might be affected. Gonna rest, read and do something else for a while and hope it passes. Just so you know.
