Dear Readers, friends and both! ♡
You probably already know what this post is about. Tapas is closing down and I’m in the process of looking around for alternative anti-AI platforms along other Tapas creators. I’ve only been here for half a year and compared to everyone, both readers and creators who’s been her way longer, my grief is nothing compared to theirs. It is both sad and inevitable how big Corp Kakao has been downsizing Tapas for some time now. Not gonna rant more about that now though.
Moving on, I will keep up all my series up a week more to take m time to migrate both Bird of Pray and Beardaughter, to foremost Pinya and Namicomi, following many other Tapas creators. I strongly suggest to join us, have a look around and help us build a “new and better Tapas” on those platforms. (Links found on profiles and on card)
I’ll let you all know If I feel the need to remove them and my profile earlier than that. We’re all still waiting for Kakao’s official announcement.
I had made plenty of cool plans this fall, but those will have to wait due to having to re-upload and establishing myself on these new sites. This also means I will not upload any more chapters here and this will sadly count as the last update.
Also check out my card if you want to support me or reach out to me on any other social media etc. I won’t be creating any pattern or focus on commissions, but entirely at my stories at said sites, once the dust settles. 🌸
Lastly, thank you all so much for the support and comments and reads and love you’ve given this poor little artist/author hybrid. It’s been a great but short ride and take care all of you!
Love, Frida!
Tryggve also sends his regard and best wishes with a little postcard 🌸 Hope we'll see each other soon!

✰ Some Plans Regarding August/Fall 2026!
✰ I'm aiming to complete the first Volume of Beardaughter! It got a new cover art as you can tell and I'm hoping to make some more illustrations and art I can use for my Ko-fi shop!
✰ I'm getting very close to releasing the prequel to Bird of Pray, Quaver! which I'm very excited about. We're really gonna get to know Erik/Leon/Liam Pablo and Karin gets many more scenes and I hope all of you will like it as much as me. I keep re-reading my draft and gushing about some scenes to my closest friends and family, and I can't wait to share it with all of you as well! ❤️
✰ Open question about Bird of Pray:
I got an alternative start with many more chapters about Yosuke's time at the hospital/waking up. But I'm unsure If I should put it in the start of the series or the back, OR make it a seperate short series? It does slow the story down a lot for new readers! 🥹 What would you prefer?
Anyway! Hope you'll have a great day and thanks EVERYONE who has read, liked or taken your time to comment. I REALLY REALLY appreciate you all and it motivates me too keep writing! 😘
over and out!

ohhh, i think it'll be fun to have the yosuke hospital chapters as its own short series maybe? that way you don't need to worry about it disrupting the flow of the story
You might have noticed I've been experimenting with a new cover for Bird of Pray, Think I'm finally set with this look! very purple, how you like it! :D
LOVES IT!!
HEY!

As I said before, very beautiful art! Love the detail about them having body hair (leg specifically), and love how cute they look together.
HAPPY PRIDE ✧\(>o<)ﾉ✧ 🏳️🌈

Hello dear reader!
And happy Pride month!
Here's some of the plans I got for for June before my vacation starts in July:
1. I'm planning on posting Beardaughter to Royal Road as well, in hope of finding more readers! 👀 But this is my main base.
2. I'm working on a pride parade art with Yosuke and Leon for this month's discord event. (maybe a little written side story around the pride parade in San Fransisco 1997! )
3. Will look over the first original chapters of Bird of Pray and post those.
4. Continue writing on Beardaughter and draw more art. But here's a pic of Tryggve all dolled up. I might have given some hints with certain metaphors, but Tryggve is most definitely part of the trans/demisexual crew! ❤️ 🏳️⚧️
Have a nice day!

Happy Pride Month Frida!
And I wish for your success in Royal Road! Good luck.
Cannot wait to see Yousuke and Leon's pride parade art [secretly hoping you would also post the side story ;)]
And As usual your Art is absolutely stunning !! Haven't read Beardaughter yet but glad to see a protagonist who is trans :)

Oh hell yea
Welcome to the parade, ahaha

Thank you guys! Tryggve's orientation isn't a central thing for the plot though, but it's hinted at everywhere throughout the story and I'm hoping that his struggles with body dysmorphia will be one of his redeeming qualities. 🥹
Absolutely. I am looking forward to reading it soon :)
HELLO THERE!
Dear subscribers, and thank you for your support!
I'm both sad/proud to announce that Bird of Pray is officially a completed series! 🎊
This doesn't mean I'm gonna let it rest. Gonna keep promoting it, polish or edit some chapters and make it even better and in shape for paperbook publishing in the future.
I have two more books in the works and I've thought about my next steps and here's the plan:
Step 0: Will Keep posting extra material for BoP!
Step 1: I'm gonna start posting the PREQUEL Quaver about Leon's life before Yosuke this spring and summer and hopefully finish it around fall/winter 2026.
Step 2: make sure the draft to the SEQUEL Bananabreak (working title!) is in good shape before I start posting that one. Need to figure out the plot for that one, which might take some time. could be this fall or early 2027.
How does that sound? ❤️

Oh. I guess, I will take my time to read now. Have a lot of mysteries to resolve...
