Hey everyone! If you read and enjoy my webcomic “Adkien” I hope you’ll check out “Wayfaring Souls: The Last Train” short story I did for the current contest here on Tapas! It’s a collaborative effort between me and Alicia, creator of the webcomic “Silver,” and we feel really good about what we’ve done. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey everyone! PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINION!
Pretty much all of you subscribed to what I lovingly call the "First Draft" of my comic formerly called "Serpents of the Old Nature" now called "Adkien" lol
Back then the pages were just standard format. I've been converting the new pages to vertical format and I haven't noticed any more positive of a reaction.
If I just post standard format I can have weekly updates no problem. Vertical format will be more spotty and close to the webtoons schedule.
What do you think?? Should I bother? Lol

I say stick with it. I am in the process of converting my series to verticle format and seeing how hard it is. You look like you're doing great at it, and for a revamp of your series, AND as time marches on (and tech continues to change) I think adapting to what webcomics is becoming - mostly everybody reading on phones, can only help you long-term. As long as there hasnt been any negative reaction... Is anybody complaining about the update schedule...
but I think the pros outweigh the cons.

Hey man thanks so much for the feedback I really appreciate it! I figured that about the modern webcomic experience. Personally I like standard format but I guess I'm old school in a lot of ways haha

Hey everyone! Been quiet on here for a while, but those who have actually read the text wall under my latest post will know that I have made the hard decision to revisit the old writing and art for Serpents
You may also notice a new title. Yes it's "Adkien" with "Serpents of the Old Nature" as the subtitle. This new title fits the story more accurately now that I have finally unlocked all the secrets. You see, I used to write the pages AS I made them back in the day-- it's impressive I lasted as long as I did but as I transfer the old pages to a new site where they will retire, I'm seeing just how necessary it is to plan out a story like this.
SO! Once I finish the transfer, I will share a link with all of you where you can access the "First Draft" for old time's sake, and then I will delete them off this site.
Thanks for sticking with me! I hope you will continue to do so, but I understand if this change is too frustrating. I do think fans of the series will see why it is necessary and in the end of the day be really glad I did this.

Hey everyone! Wasn't sure about posting this as an actual page but.....I'd like to announce a title change for "Serpents of Old"! It will now be known as "Serpents of the Old Nature" which has the same title MEANING just...says it more clearly. This is a title I feel better about and I hope you all will love it as much as I do. And if you don't...I humbly respect your opinion, but I'mma still do it. Thank you for reading you guys!!
