It's been a minute, huh? Thank you everyone who's still around. How about a preview of what's coming in the new year?
Alright, so hello anyone still with me. Long story short as to what's been happening: lock down > got ill anyway because yay essential worker for the post office > even more isolation + being really sick > post sickness depression > non-productivity depression > it's been forever since my last update guilt depression. However, we're out of that now. I've had to take a bit of a break from the 1st Rule and work on a different project to get back in the grove, but there will be an update on the 1st Rule this Friday/Saturday for you guys.
I'm sorry you are going through a rough time. Depression is hard to fight but I hope you situation gets better soon. Please rest and take care of your health first!
So while still can't do any actual digital work on the series due to having to be isolated from the rest of my family (there might be a decent sized tradition update to Extra Gold sometime though) I did at least want to share on the the WIPs I started pre-virus and will hopefully finish up as soon as I'm better. Thanks again for sticking with me through this, guys.

Actually gets here for long enough to let you guys know I'm still around. This is a pretty tough time for a lot of people, as I'm sure you all know, and I've been quite sick and hiding away completely because I live with a lot of vulnerable people, as I've mentioned before. I will be back to updating the 1st Rule soon with some nice big updates to make up for the break. Thank you for sticking with me guys. Hope to see you all for updates again soon.

Hello every. Just a quick update for you all. You might have noticed there's no updated yesterday or day on the 1st Rule and that is because I am ill. While I'm not at risk and it's probably just a cold, I do live with several at risk people and so I am locked in my room for everyone else's safety. This does mean I'm away from my computer with my work, though. Hopefully this will pass quickly and I will try to update next week to make up for it. Thank you for your understanding.
Hello, everyone. Just letting you know once again, this week's update will be Saturday not Friday. I might just shift to Saturdays entirely since this seems to be becoming a thing but we'll see.
BIG NEWS! The 1st Rule will update tomorrow with an extra long bumper chapter in a slightly new style! Things will still be slow while I recover as much of my buffer as possible and get back on track, but there will be an update tomorrow and then I will be catching up on what I've missed.

So, I wanted to let everyone know I will be officially restarting updated for the 1st Rule at the end of the month with an extra long update to make up for being away for so long. Hello everyone it's been a while! Here's an update on the situation, I'll make an update on the 1st Rule for everyone who doesn't read these sort of posts. Thank you everyone for sticking with me this far. The computer status is worse than expected. Many of the files can't be opened even when transferred to other computers, always have a cloud back up, and I'm going to have to redraw a lot of my buffer when the computer is fixed/I get a new one depending on the costs but either way it's not happening until the end of the year now. I've been downgraded to my decade old netbook and while it can't run graphics to help me get my buffer back, I can use it to write. So starting probably October I'll start updating another short story to keep you guys going instead.
